Out front Gallery 113 had a display of prints from an artist with a collection inside. We picked out a 11 X 14 print matted to 16 X 20 of Pikes Peak in an expressive bright watercolor. We took it inside and immediately, the staff put it up to hold it while we shopped.
All the artists on site, were engaging and friendly to us. We were looking at another painting inside and the artist walked up and said, “I painted that”. She was really nice!
In another collection we all fell in love for the style of the art made by Terri Homick. We liked the paintings of the Crows! We liked the Abstract Collages using National Geographic Magazines with a crazy penguin visiting on the side. Everything by Terri is awesome! We bought a couple of prints. When, we got home, I saw I had been liking her paintings on Instagram and never realized she had a gallery display 26 miles away.
Everyone at Gallery 113 was very helpful! We all met people to talk with that we related to. What a relaxing atmosphere. A lot of local friends visiting, but open to visitors and especially us first timers to the gallery.
We visited a list if galleries tonight for First Friday Art Walk in downtown Colorado Springs. Gallery 113 was the best in all categories Art Quality, Price, and personal discussions with the original Artist!”

“An extremely knowledgeable & kind owner who is well versed & well traveled. Point blank- he knows his stuff. I brought a rug in & he took the time to explain all the things about my rug to me as well as how to properly clean it in the event of an accident, the different approaches to cleaning & proper care & maintenance of my rug. I appreciated that he understood that not everyone can afford the steep price of proper cleaning, but still offered his advice & help. He also offered a refreshing perspective of enjoying the rug in your home (other companies I talked to made me feel even scared to touch the rug as if it were far too precious). I feel like this business genuinely cares to help educate customers, not just sell them something for personal gain. Though I wish I could afford to buy all their rugs. I have also never seen such a beautiful selection of rugs & art in one place. You can tell that each piece was hand selected & cared for to the nines. I walked away from this shop with more knowledge, a greater sense of confidence in my abilities to care for a precious item, & a newfound appreciation for the art of all types of rugs. If my lengthy review isn’t telling enough, I highly recommend this business- even if it’s just to stop in & admire the beautiful items on display. You won’t be sorry.”

“Incredible museum! It's really just one room but we spent over an hour looking at all of the details. We enjoyed doing the scavenger hunt (I recommend buying the $5 one, it will keep you busy!)
I see reviews say they won't come back, but we will definitely return in a few years, and I'm sure the wonder and curiosity will seem fresh.”
