Benet Hill Monastery is a peaceful and welcoming community located near Colorado Springs. The sisters are kind and hospitable, creating a warm environment for visitors. Guests can enjoy various activities such as prayer, retreats, and spiritual programs offered throughout the year. The monastery is especially beautiful during winter, with snow on the ground and wildlife like mule deer wandering the grounds, adding to its serene atmosphere. One of the highlights is the large, well-maintained labyrinth, which provides a meaningful walking experience. Visitors can walk the labyrinth, which is lined with rocks and features challenging elements like trees growing in the path and varying ground levels, making the walk both interesting and meditative. The sounds of birds and the scent of pine trees enhance the peaceful experience. Wildlife sightings add a natural touch, and visitors often appreciate how friendly and welcoming the community is, including the sisters and other visitors. The outdoor areas are well-kept, with trails and beautiful flowers surrounding the grounds. While directions to the labyrinth could be clearer, overall, the place is highly appreciated for its tranquility and the opportunity to connect with nature and faith. Visitors often leave feeling refreshed, grateful for the chance to spend time in this serene monastery setting.
The sisters were super kind and welcoming. I spent one night as a personal retreat, participated in prayer times and meals, and felt the peace and hospitality of Christ there.

I visited with my three young children with plans for going to noon prayer and some trail walking.
The Sisters were so welcoming and did everything to help me when possible with my kids. After noon prayer, they even invited us to eat lunch with them!

The Sisters jams are heavenly! I donate empty jars and walk their fabulous labyrinth-often dear laying about.
