1st off if you don't want people using the bathroom put up a sign that says "no public bathrooms" you don't have to be rude! People with children playing at the park deserve to have a place to pee! 2nd of all don't claim to be a Nature center if you're still using paper towels in the bathrooms, they are terrible for the environment. 3rd and lastly because of your rudeness I will never take my children here or support the establishment. Just rude.

Catamount is one of my favorite local nonprofits and a wonderful place for kids to learn about the natural world. Catamount’s school programs are always an epic hit and the summer camps are so much fun. Getting outside, getting dirty, making friend and making memories, an added bonus: they are learning too.

Catamount is amazing! They bring outdoor education to the local community and make it accessible for every type of student. Volunteering with them is a privilege and delight. If you are looking for a way to get children involved with the outdoors, this is a great place to donate your time.

I LOVE this place. Parking is very limited but it's totally worth coming here. There's a small creek that runs through the land and trials that go up some hills so when you reach the top you can see part of the city. They also have benches where you can have some lunch. If anyone from LA is reading this ,when you do the trails up the hills you kinda get Griffith Park vibes :)

These guys are some of the best around. Professional, well-educated, and passionate about what they're doing. I have spent some time assisting the Catamount staff, and have been constantly impressed by the quality of the educational programs they put on. Keep up the great work!

Very selfish people! I had a run around with this company, they try to promote the kids and programs but do not truly care of the staff wellbeing. After tons of projects and hours of my time even years, they completely used me. Personally was offered opportunities many times before having the positions given away to others out from under my nose. Do not always believe what you see on the news or advertisement from this group!

Catamount Institute outdoor education programs are the perfect opportunity for kids to have exciting adventures outdoors while also learning about science. During the school year Catamount Institute provides field trips, after school clubs, and outdoor classroom programs for local schools. In the summer Catamount Institute hosts outdoor summer camps for ages 6-16. Great summer camp option in Colorado Springs! The staff is friendly and ready to work with any school. Catamount Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit and provides scholarships to summer camps and other programs.

My daughter is a proud alum of many Catamount Institute summer camp programs. She loved, loved the overnight camps and I always knew she had a great time when she took of her socks and her feet were covered in dirt from epic adventures. The Catamount team is kind, caring, super knowledgeable and most importantly, the kids love the staff!

Our son has been attending camps and Outdoor Education classes for the last 6 years. Catamount helped him become really excited about science and nature- especially the environmental concerns of our planet and local community. The counselors and staff are knowledgeable, kind and incredibly supportive- especially when a bit of homesickness crept in during an overnight camp. Look no further than Catamount for a wonderful and fulfilling camp/outdoor education experience for your children.
