About Chinook Center
The Chinook Center is a mission-driven space that aims to empower grassroots social, economic, and environmental justice work in the Pikes Peak region. They facilitate mutual aid programs and work for justice in the community. The center is described as a lovely, welcoming, and safe space that provides free grocery bags, clothes, and toiletries to those in need. It serves as a gathering place for groups involved in local progressive endeavors, including a weekly food bank distribution and monthly meetings of the local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America.

Wow! Genuine people! I met Joe and his companion Simba. I'm very thankful for the genuine hospitality. I'll never forget my first visit at the Chinook center! Thank you so much!!

My favorite place to rub elbows with movers and shakers within the Community. We also serve at the food pantry. I love the Chinook Center for what it stands for and the work they do there.
