Peterson Commissary is a military grocery store that offers a great selection of products at affordable prices. The staff is consistently helpful and professional, although customers should double-check prices to avoid any errors. The commissary has a good variety of items, including surprisingly tasty sushi, delicious rotisserie chicken, and satisfying sandwiches. While the bakery selection is limited, the overall quality and value of the store make it a popular choice among military families. The commissary's tax-free status contributes to the significantly lower prices compared to other grocery stores, particularly for items like chicken, beef, and bison. However, the selection may not be as extensive as larger commercial supermarkets, and the produce quality can sometimes be variable. Customers often supplement their commissary shopping with additional trips to other stores for items like fresh salmon. Overall, Peterson Commissary is widely regarded as a great place to shop, offering excellent deals and a pleasant shopping experience for those with base access and a military ID.
Please note that the Base Exchange is connected and this Commisary always have a great selection, the staff is always helpful

It doesn't get better than this as far as military grocery stores go. The only place that comes close is the new Fort Carson Commissary.

Not as much selection as KROEGER, king scoopers, Walmart but quite a bit cheaper especially chicken, beef, bison. They don’t carry decent fresh salmon and some days their produce looks a bit over the hill. I’ll usually shop commissary then get salmon and sometimes produce elsewhere.
