“I recently bought a new mattress and adjustable frame. I don't know why I waited so long, I was literally in pain every day. I was waking up with headaches and a stuffy nose. I had a really bad accident a long time ago and I've had chronic pain ever since. I tell you what, if you're planning on becoming a senior citizen, I suggest you start saving up for a good mattress and bed frame now. haha It's amazing how damaging a bad mattress can be to your health.”

“One of my favorite shops in the Springs! I come here regularly just to look around even if I'm not planning to buy anything at that moment. They have a good variety of furniture in all different styles, including some more eclectic things that make me wonder how I could incorporate them into my house. Of course the most desirable pieces go quickly, so you have to stay on top of what they have, but everything seems to be in good shape or at least priced appropriately. I also appreciate the decrease in price over time if it hasn't sold. I've purchased a few things from them now and they're always very friendly and helpful. Recently I bought a table that I wasn't sure would fit in my car and two employees helped disassemble it and make sure it fit in my car safely - no shoving it in or trying to convince me to pay for delivery. I would highly recommend shopping here!”

I had a great experience with Terrance when I was shopping for this piece of furniture. As I was checking out, I started to chat with Terrance about the delivery and realize he would be delivering our furniture to Steamboat. I asked if I could have a phone number so that I didn’t call when they were coming. He gave me his cell phone, his personal cell phone, which was unbelievably gracious and generous.
Terrance called me to let me know he was delivering the piece of furniture and he was completely professional, completely on time, and delivering 100% of my expectations.
Then I had a bit of a crisis as I was installing a floor in Steamboat and ran out of material. And a moment that could only be described as desperate I decided to call Terrance’s personal cell phone and ask for a favor. The flooring I needed was at Costco, which was right near his shop, and I asked him if he could possibly pick up six boxes of flooring. I was unable to pay for the flooring at Costco online or over the phone speaking to the manager. And Terrance, who was an angel sent straight from heaven agreed to pick up the floor, pay for it with his personal card, and deliver it with the furniture to Steamboat Springs.
The whole episode made me feel like we live in a good world with good people. He trusted me and I trusted him and he saved our project as we had a deadline.
I was thrilled with Kirkland and Terrance before this episode and now he will go down his history as one of the angels that help me through a tight spot. He should be recognize his professionalism, generosity, work ethic, people, skills, and just, having a big heart and a good head on his shoulders. I wish I could clone people like him and I would hire an army of them. Kirklands is so lucky to have him!

“I've been in the store many times but have never purchased there. They have some nice things but not a huge variety and I feel they're a little over priced. That said, I have more formal and European taste. I didn't find much that was baroque or rococo. Most places carry what's popular. This place is the same. I want unique well made furniture not what's popular. As far as the staff goes, I've found it's a mixture of aloof and friendly. It depends who's there. One would think, if you're spending money, everyone there would be skippy happy friendly and ready to assist you. Service is dead as the Dodo in the US.”

“These guys may not be the cheapest but they have the best products I've ever slept on. We bought our first mattress from there about 6 years ago. It's been three best. When or daughter needed a new bed we went back. The staff was just as friendly and helpful. They need the product they were selling, but better than that, they have us get choices and room to talk.
