“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Lodge! The only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer, but we will make it a point to return on our next trip to CO! You couldn’t ask for a better location & experience. The property and rooms are wonderfully kept, and you’re seriously a 5 minute walk right into the Garden! We stayed in room 103 and loved it. The private backyard area was a nice touch. Brews & and live music in the lodge was a nice way to end the day. If you’re planning to visit Colorado Springs/Manitou Springs, this is the place! Cheers!”
“Honestly, I have no words for what a special hotel this is. Everything about it is 5-stars. The staff called us by name during our entire stay and made us feel so welcome. We loved the modern, mid century design with a nod to aviation. They even have flight simulators on site. The rooms are well appointed and the mountain views from every corner of the place are simply stunning. Tiffany made celebrating our 40th anniversary so special. I cannot recommend Hotel Polaris enough and look forward to staying here again soon. 10 out of 10!”

“Starting to show it's age, room paint, carpet, wall mounted A/C units, and yes the bathroom. Shell over shower, shower head that drips, shower doors don't overlap, just needs a little makeover. Continental breakfast was ok, front desk was ok, well for the way help is. Probably wouldn't stop there next time.”

“Loved it here , it's just a few minutes away from grocery stores , restaurants etc .. and has a hike trail literally around the corner.
The Garden of the Gods is nearby as well .
And the staff was exceptional, very helpful and friendly.”
“We had our Holiday party here last night and it was a wonderful experience from the staff helping to make sure we had everything that we needed to the atmosphere to the food. The food was delicious, meat was tender and flavorful, vegetables were seasoned just right. We had a small band play and there was plenty of room for them to play. Everyone loved the fire pit area that was included in our package. We got s'mores kits at an additional cost for everyone to use at the firepits, that was a huge hit! I will definitely book our next gathering here; they are very accommodating and friendly.”

Adam met us when we arrived from our long journey from Texas and greeted us with a smile and such an engaging personality, we felt at home immediately. Adam took great care of us through the check-in process. He was amazing and we had a great time. “I actually really enjoyed me stay. More affordable than residence inn but in some ways it was more chill, too. I have a bunch of kids, some on the spectrum, and the shelving as well as the deep high drawers help me A LOT. There was police presence there everyday we were there but there wasn't any drama.”

“I stayed in this hotel for over 4 months. Let me start by saying that the managers and the staff are all top notch, super friendly. There’s good synergy here, the managers often help the kitchen staff. To answer one of the negative comments, if the water feels slimey, its because all Courtyards use filtered water with carbon AND water softener beads, this is why the water feels the way it does. It takes some getting used to for those who have never used quality water filters. Anyway, the hotel is very modern, Ive stayed at other Courtyards that were much much older than this one. The mountain view is amazing. Thank you staff and managers for supporting the military, we appreciate you!”
“The cottage was so cozy! It was a great, private place for us to go back to relax with the hot tub or fireplace after a busy day. Frank was very responsive & helpful, especially when we locked ourselves out. Location is good, close to hiking & Old Colorado City”

“Awesome hotel stay. We checked out of another hotel because of a bad experience and had to find a new hotel last minute on a Sunday night. Holiday Inn Express took us in and the lady at the front desk was amazing. They even had some frozen dinners in the lobby we could buy so we didn't have to go out and find food that night. Staff was amazing, breakfast was awesome and the rooms are clean and smell great. The pool and hot tub work and we even got to do our laundry for free. Great hotel 5 stars from us!!”

“This place was awesome from walk in to walk out!! They were on point with getting everything set up for my daughters bday. The rooms were clean and spacious House keeping did a great job and was helpful with giving us some extra towels our girls accidentally used our shower towels for the pool!! And let me not forget our VIEW!! My kids had a blast in the andventure park and the water park was pretty fun as well! They didn’t want to leave!!! Breakfast was delicious the Host Nakeda was the best!!! And our server Jose was great too! Theres A lot of near by shopping store which is great if you’re a mom like me and always forget to grab something! Brian at the front desk was very helpful when it came to check out made everything just so easy and gracious that we will definitely be back before the year is over!! Thank you to all Great Wolf Lodge! Your hard work most definitely is appreciated!”
“To return truck, I had to wait because they weren't open yet, but it says they were suppose to be open at 8am. In San Antonio everything was great, easy peasy getting the truck very friendly. When opened very friendly also. Will use them again! Thanks budget!”

“This was a very nice, clean, friendly, and affordable hotel!!!! The only things I would recommend to them is to provide information about parking options, we parked in the garage across the street for $10. You can bus to about anywhere from this garage, you can pay for valet parking, or street parking if available. Also, they really need curtains because there was quite a lot of light coming through during the night, and the breakfast was kinda lacking compared to even cheaper hotels. Definitely get some muffins and a waffle maker. Otherwise, great stay and we will be back.”

“Room: The room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the mountains. Wifi was easy to connect and fast.
Breakfast: Run-of-the-mill continental breakfast was served. Not bueno but not bad. It does the job.
Staff: Alex was a delight. Very kind, very helpful and knowledgeable. Up until that point, all the hotel staff i had run into during my vacation was eh at best. Alex was levels above that, a star in the field of hospitality.
Location: The hotel was situated near enough to the GoG so that I could relax after day of hiking and close enough to Colorado Springs to go out and grab a bite and a drink.
Bonus: Rabbit Hole in Colorado Springs was a fantastic restaurant. Great drinks, great atmosphere and the food was phenomenal.”

“My son and I stayed here a couple days back in May of 2025, and we thought we left a black fanny pack with my son’s rescue meds, a girl the next morning of 5/20, answered the phone and went above and beyond to look and locate our missing item. She checked the room, the parking lot and was so amazing how helpful she was. At the time I asked her name and unfortunately, my memory is not what it used to be, so I have forgotten it but if I’m not mistaken it began with an “M” but I may be wrong. My point is this location is superb due to the people who work there corporate on the other hand, not so much. But the employees at this site are always superb, polite, and aim to please. Thank you to each of you!”

“Love the Thomas Moran paintings in the public areas. Especially the one up stairs, however I had to turn off the light under it to enjoy. I was not impressed with the young cafe staff. Unprofessional and loud. Being forced to give a tip is unacceptable for poor service. The valet young men were excellent. As were staff in lobby, restaurant, desk, grounds. I will be eating outside the hotel next time. bad service and greedy hidden fees just ruin it a bit. There were MANY loud families and children. Screeching, screaming, talking loud, running. Misbehaved and entitled kids with nannies. Summertime.”
