The Citadel Mall presents a mixed and contrasting experience for visitors. Many stores remain open, including larger chains and department stores, and the mall is generally described as bigger than others, kept up, clean, and convenient. The food court offers basic options, with some noting it has good food. Positive mentions include pleasant staff and great prices at certain stores. However, other reviews paint a different picture, describing a mall that is a shadow of its former self. Concerns are raised about safety, with reports of feeling unsafe even during the day and frequent night shootings. The overall atmosphere is sometimes called desolate, sketchy, and shady, with noted emptiness from approximately half the stores being closed. The food court is also criticized for appearing consistently dirty and unkempt. While there is hope that events like a summer carnival will boost business, some advise shoppers to temper their expectations due to the mall's evident decline from its past heyday.
THE WORD IS DEFINITELY..A place where you can get a wonderful day..

Amazing staff. Nothing to special about this place just like any other mall here in the Springs. I do not recommend this mall for store options though. I recommend going to the chapel hills mall instead.
