“This review is long overdue it’s been a difficult few months. We took our senior dog aka the love of our lives.. to Ponderosa being relatively new to the area, we first saw Dr. Rippberger who spent so much time examining and caring for Zeus gently and thorough even though he got tired and nipped at her! she made me feel so important with my concerns and let me know to take him home and love him for his remaining time. So we did. When it was his time we brought him back and the staff could not have been more wonderful and sympathetic, Dr. Coufal (Soulful) was beyond sympathetic he spent so much time with us before the euthanasia procedure and after he was absolutely genuine and made us feel special in our grief. We trusted him completely with our good boy.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of our beloved family member, we received kindness and empathy and we will always be grateful.

She handles our difficult, anxious corgi with ease all while making us feel better. “Other than a short wait for a room, and some time to see the vet as they handled an emergency situation, the staff was extremely kind and respectful with the Vet giving me and my dog plenty of time for the examination and plenty of options for treatment. “I am so thankful I took my king Charles Cavalier to VCA Dublin animal hospital. Everyone from the front desk to the tech and vet Dr. Koehler were wonderful. I was treated with the utmost respect and the care for Winston was exceptional. Dr. Koehler took extra care in her exam and was so kind in explaining what was wrong and what the plan was to help him get better. The price was not bad, much better than I expected. “Took our boys in on the weekend vaccinations clinic and while it was a bit busy, definitely worth it. The staff was great with both boys 2ho were scared. The staff worked with our cats and explained everything as they were going along. The front desk staff was friendly and answered every question. Definitely recommend Hamlett”
“Dr. Bundy was recommended to me as a good avian vet; I took my bird to him for a well-check recently and was very impressed! He seems to be extremely knowledgeable and caring, spending considerable time getting to know my bird. He wasn’t in a rush to get us in and out so he could move on to his next patient.
The facility is large, spacious, and clean. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming to us upon arrival and at checkout time.
I highly recommend YVH, and especially Dr. Bundy, to anyone wanting a good, knowledgeable, and compassionate vet.”

“Absolutely wonderful staff! I had a very sick kitty. When I called they said they were booked. When I told them I didn’t think my cat would make it through the night, they put me on hold and told me they could squeeze me in around 10:30. I live an hour and a half away (everywhere close to me was booked up too) and barely made it by 10:30. The staff was so kind. The doctor came in and saw my kitty and told me what I already knew. I did everything I could for her. There was nothing more I could do. The doctor (Dr. Pierce) was so nice and caring and sympathetic. They explained the steps of euthanasia and I was able to pick out an urn for her ashes. I was able to be there as they put her down. And they let me grieve in peace for awhile. The clinic was so quiet and peaceful. If I lived closer, this would be my home clinic for my pets.”

Dr. Hand was fabulous - he and the staff went out of their way to make sure Sam was comfortable during his visit, and Sam really liked him (a big plus because Sam did not care for strangers).
