After trying so many different things and paying hundreds of dollars to no avail, I finally found a vet that could help him. Dr. Curran was very thorough in her examination and after just the one visit, so far he has barely scratched! I'm very pleased and I'm sure my GS is too! They were very thorough, explanatory, very knowledgeable, and she spent the necessary time to go through the list of things that needed to be looked at. “I feel like the veterinarian and their assistant were extremely caring and knowledgeable about their work. My rabbit healed two or three days after I took her here which impressed me. I only took off one star because some weirdo (I don't know if she works here or not) was lurking in the doorway and touched my shoulder after she opened the door for me as I was leaving. While I don't mind friendliness, I do mind people touching me because they could give me the coronavirus or they could be a criminal for all I know. I just say because it creeped me out since I don't know the person. I have a problem with random people touching me when I go to other places so this is starting to become an issue I need to speak up about since I feel like it will only get worse if I don't say anything.”

“Dr. Hackbarth saw my miniature schnauzer, Reagan, this week for a UTI when our regular vet, Dr. Birkholz, was not in. Dr. Hackbarth was WONDERFUL. She listened well. She explained things very clearly. She allowed time for me to ask questions. I felt she was fully engaged, well informed and knowledgeable, and very approachable and responsive. I quickly looked into a new vet and found this location and made an appointment with Dr Samantha Hendricks. And I must say I was so impressed with her and the vet tech Amanda! They made everything so easy and readily available for my dogs care and they showed true genuine compassion, care and concern for my Luna girl! They gave me quick and carefully thought out plan of care with explanations for everything down to the last detail! Can’t thank them enough! “I've found veterinarians and the people that work at animal hospitals are typically outgoing and warm, but the people here are outstanding, even in that group. They've taken great care of our German Shepherd. Some places seem to gouge you, knowing you can't easily shop around, but I've had them do surgery on two different dogs over the years and found the prices very fair.”

“Dr. Mack is the best. She has helped me with my dog diagnosed with diabetes. She did everything in her power to get him well. He is doing much better thanks to the staff at East Springs Animal Hospital. He has to go again due to tummy problems, under her care he is doing much better. Highly recommend this vet clinic.the techs are all really helpful and knowledgeable. The front desk ladies are always professional and make each person feel welcomed.”

“I wasn’t sure how well a 1yr old Great Dane who is recovering from spinal cord and brain stem compression would tolerate acupuncture but he quite literally loves seeing Dr Pearson! On our 2nd visit he waltzed right in and laid down, assuming the position and stayed there the majority of his appt (the tasty treat doesn’t hurt either haha). Dr Pearson has a huge heart and you can tell she genuinely loves her patients. There’s something very special about her, the way she connects with animals and their people. Best of all, my pup seems to be genuinely improving again. I turned to acupuncture after feeling like his recovery had plateaued after 10 weeks of recovery time and not wanting to give up until all options have been exhausted for this baby Dane. MRIs have revealed a malformed C1 vertebrae and very angry atlas joint.

If you have a pet that is experiencing pain, this is well worth a shot! I know it may not work for all patients but I’m certainly a believer now myself! Thank you Dr Pearson, Kane just adores you and cannot thank you enough for giving us hope again!”

“I've been taking my pets to this location for three years now and it's been the best vet that I've ever taken them to. With all of my different appointments for my cat and dog, it hasn't mattered the type of care or doctor - I have never had a bad experience. Professional and caring people (front desk and doctors) and quality care and treatment for my animals. Two weeks ago I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Ranger who had cancer and needed to be euthanized. So tough, the first time I've ever had to make that decision. As soon as I called, a coordinator at the front desk was nothing but caring and worked in an appointment for me that day. When I brought in Ranger, they immediately had a room for us. They informed me of my options, allowed me as much time as I wanted with him and offered me a conversation with the doctor and a pup cup for him before putting Ranger to sleep. The doctor, Dr. Moody (and the vet tech), were very empathetic and calming during a sensitive and emotional appointment. Ranger enjoyed his treat and then peacefully passed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for such a tough moment. Dr. Moody sent a sweet card and I received his ashes and memorial gifts in a timely and special fashion. That meant so much to me. This vet clinic is efficient, caring and the clinic that I will continue to take my pets to regardless of the area of town I live in.

Also, Dr. Rothstein has been so great with my pets. Right after I had to say goodbye to my dog, Ranger, two months later I had to say goodbye to my 15-year-old cat Mia who I had for 14 years. Again, so tough, but he was so caring and it was the best experience it could be watching my beloved cat peacefully fall asleep. He also sent a thoughtful card. I am very thankful for this clinic and its personable veterinarians.”

“I've been to this office quite a few times for a number of different pets and have always had amazing experiences.
What is pushing me to write this review now is how my little mouse Charlie was taken care of during his last moments.
A few weeks ago, I found my pet mouse with a problem that couldn't go unseen, so I got an appointment for him as soon as possible at this hospital.
Once we were in, Dr Markel treated my little mouse, along with me and my partner with such respect and kindness, even when informing me it may be time to gauge his quality of life and determine if it was time to let my little boy go.
They gave us time with him, and Dr. Markle promised me that he was going to be not afraid in those final moments. It's always hard losing your best friend.
The staff were respectful and kind from the beginning to the end of this trip, but it went on even after I exited the building.
A few days later, I went to pick up his ink and clay prints that I'd requested. Reignited some of the feelings I'd put away, but it was a beautiful reminder of my little buddy.
A good couple week have passed since I went in for that appointment, not knowing I'd be leaving with one less friend, but time always helps heal.
Yet, despite the time that passed, there was one more thing NPAH had to offer.
A handwritten sympathy card from some of the staff. I opened it with my partner and we both cried to what everyone had to say. It was a beautiful thing to read after all this time- I'm still tearing up writing this review while looking at this card.
A huge and warm thank you to Natalie, Meghan, Dr. Leinburger, and especially Dr. Markle for making that sad day the best it could have been. Thank you Dr. Markle for treating my sweet Charlie boy with such kindness and care, I will never forget the names you came up with for him during an exam or the fun facts you shared about my little mus musculus.
Rest In Peace Charlie the mouse, you were loved beyond what you could comprehend in your little mouse head. I miss you.
