“I rarely (never?) write Google reviews, but SJ Tire has been such an excellent experience on two separate occasions now and I felt moved to put some good energy out into the universe about it.

Spring 2026 - brought in my 2003 Subaru Legacy with a slow leak on a tire. They found a nail and after looking over all my tires recommended replacing all four. The person working helped me to explore my options and pricing with patience and kindness. His customer service made me feel confident in making informed decisions about a significant unplanned expense.

Summer 2026 - Denver road hazards strike again - I managed to scrape my tire against a crumbling curb while parking and it destroyed my basically brand new tire. SJ Tire Mobile Service came to the rescue. They answered my call at 4:50 p.m. and set me up for a service call the very next day. They gave me a window in the afternoon and showed up to my vehicle on time in the earlier end of the window. The tech was kind and prepared for the job. Because they keep purchases on file, they brought the exact same tire I'd purchased in the spring to replace the punctured tire (without me having to mention or ask about it). It took 20 minutes for him to change my tire and get our transaction squared away. He even mentioned that I might call the shop and ask if they might extend their Road Hazard coverage for all the tires so that this kind of thing would be covered in the future. To not have to deal with calling a tow and going to the shop to sort this out made a bummer situation 100x easier and more humane.

Honestly, almost moved to tears that there are still people and businesses out there who operate on the premise of kindness and making something easy for customers. In a world where so much is hard and people are often unkind, it goes a long way. On top of that the service and products have been solid. You have my business for as long as I live in Denver. Thank you!”

“Wow!!!! I stopped by O’Reilly Auto Parts today to replace the engine and cabin air filters on vehicle. Saul went above and beyond by not only helping me find the right parts, but also taking the time to install them with me in the 95 degree heat and explain the process. “Had gotten wrong dome lights for my aunt's car and like a bone head had tossed the receipt. Went in, explained to the manager what happened and they helped me get correct bills and exchanged the incorrect ones for the correct ones . Very hassle-free. I appreciate it very much.”

“I didn't shop here, or buy batteries. But I did pull into their parking lot to start cleaning up my 6 year old who vomitted in the car in the middle of highway 36 as it's right off the exit. One of the staff members there came out and offered us to come in through the back door and use their restroom to get cleaned up and found plastic bags for us for her clothes, etc. This was a small kindness, but meant a lot to us to help deal with a hard situation. So I don't know about their batteries, but I do know they're decent people! Thanks for help!”

Was so friendly and helped me match and install it right there in the parking lot. His quality customer service really made my day. As a lady, I find it so valuable when auto employees treat me with equal respect and don't act condescending. Allan was awesome. Give him a raise!”

“I just wanted to share a story about Matt (from the store on South Colorado) and his exceptional customer service he provided me. I went in today with a dead battery and he tested it to confirm. Rather than just sell me a new battery, he looked up where I had gotten the battery from (O'Reilly) and told me to call them to ask for a warranty, rather than just sell me on a new one. Sure enough it was under warranty and, because my car was dead, he even DROVE ME to the O'Reilly down the street then waited for me outside while I got a new one. Again driving me back to the store and then proceeded to put in the new battery (into a notoriously difficult battery spot) in my car and made sure all was good before letting me go. Batteries Plus didn't get a dime from the effort, but Matt did all this anyway. What exceptional customer service! You surely made a lifelong customer of me today for all my battery needs going forward. Thank you so much Matt!”

I was stressed out dealing with a battery issue + broken rear turn signal bulb and I was immediately greeted with kindness when I walked in. Luke truly went above and beyond to assist me. First he found the replacement bulb and then he walked out to the parking lot to install it for me. On top of that, he took the time to run a free diagnostic test on my battery and alternator to ensure my car was safe to drive home. Luke was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional—completely opposite to the frustrating experience I had with a roadside technician earlier today. He took the time to talk with the mechanic to make sure the information was properly communicated so that I knew what my next steps were. Will definitely be returning thanks to his help.

“I have a son with very severe autism. I don't like taking him to stores. This world wasn't built for him and he wasn't built for this world. We came to this O'Reilly location after we caused a scene with some very rude and not very understanding people at autozone. The staff at O'Reilly was very kind and made us feel welcome and that's not a common experience when I have my son with me. We were actually able to get everything we needed because of their kindness and understanding. 10/10”
