“Our favorite pet store. This place has a great selection of treats that our doggo loves for really reasonable prices. He chews through most stuff in record time but their cheek rolls last him for weeks! They have given us awesome recommendations on dog food (and generous samples!) when he’s had a sensitive stomach and we’ve bought him some awesome collars/harnesses that we get a ton of compliments on. Highly recommend this place! They are awesome :)”

“The kindest, most knowledgeable staff at any pet store in Denver. If you have pets with allergies, itchy skin, digestive issues––this staff is do damn helpful. We walked through the entire store looking for a dog food with no poultry products OR alfalfa, and found a great one! Honestly, even more helpful than my good vet. Their return policy on food is amazing (as long as you have more than half the bag left, they'll refund you and help you pick a replacement!), especially when you're trying to isolate and remove animal or plant products your pet may be allergic to.”

However, their selection of toys, accessories, and gear was underwhelming.The staff was polite, but the high prices made it hard to see this as our regular spot for pet supplies. Good for food, not so much for everything else, and a bit too pricey overall.”

“What a charming little shop! Friendly, helpful staff, great products, and dog friendly- yes!! We buy raw food for our four legged family members here. My dog loves visiting because he gets lots of attention, treats, and the owner always remembers his name. Although they don't carry the raw food out kitty eats, they are gracious enough to specially order it for us and to text me when it arrives. Their do it yourself dog baths are pretty great too. Once you have your pup all clipped in they give you a menu of soaps and scents for your special buddy. They also have all they can eat high value treats for during the bath- at the other places we've gone my pup has refused treats during the bath as a show of his displeasure, but these were apparently so delicious that he ate them all, displeasure be damned. He smelled so good when we got home that I couldn't resist giving him extra snuggles and cuddles on the floor just so I could smell him!”

The shop has a great selection of high quality foods that are minimally processed without a lot of fillers and additives so I can trust what I purchase there is healthy for my pup. They also carry supplies made locally and by small business so I can find unique gifts and treats. The owner is warm and welcoming and willing to address my questions and even customize an order for me if she doesn't happen to have what I need. It's so fun to drop by on the weekend and browse the items. I recommend that you stop by!”

“Took my puppy here after a goose p*** mishap at Sloans Lake and the staff was so kind and had an excellent sense of humor with me. I really appreciated the tips and extra hands trying to clean a very wiggly puppy. And the treats that came with the bath package to keep mister puppy occupied was very hand. Great store. “Crazy assortment of fish here. I will say there's one complaint I have about this place. I don't mind that the shop itself is a sketchy dirty old sort of building. In Denver it's to be expected, so that's fine. But some of the tanks themselves, the water and the glass etc. were looking a bit dirty too. Nothing shocking or crazy bad but compared to other fish stores in the area I was surprised that the tanks here were like significantly more dirty and there was a concerning amount of algae growth.That being said, I did not see and dead, sick, or suffering fish floating around at Fish Den which is a good sign. Stores like Petco and Pet Smart may appear to have clean water but they've actually got all sorts of issues circulating through their water. Which causes suffering, dying, and dead fish floating around when you visit there. Fish Den ain't perfect but compared to the competition, they're great!”

“I had shopped here a couple of times previously and always found really cute items and had a great experience, but I brought in my dog for grooming a couple of weeks back and was so impressed.Not only does he look better than he has ever looked following a grooming session anywhere, but he is a mini Aussie who certainly has some separation anxiety, and I have never felt more comfortable leaving him with a groomer. Both our groomer, Sammy, and I believe the owner, were so kind and reassured not only Indy, but also myself. All my friends and family have also raved about how much better his haircut looks than normal too (and the bow tie they sent him home with couldn’t be cuter). Highly recommend and this will absolutely be our regular spot for grooming :)”

“I have been going here for a year and a half and LOVE TJ! I have a Cavapoo, and at first she experienced pretty bad separation anxiety and they put her in a kennel (which makes it worse); after I explained this to them, they keep her not in a kennel when she's done and she is a happy girl, I am glad I gave this place a second change. TJ goes above and beyond for my little, and has a poodle himself. It's nice to know someone like TJ works here! I just recommended my neighbors rescue come here for a nail trim. Small place, but they do know how to get it done! Just be mindful of their extra fees, and make sure to pick your dog up within the time frame and call if you anticipate you will be running behind!”

“This is my first time here and it probably won't be the last. The minute I came in Briana greeted me and Lola and I told her I needed her groomed and lemme tell you...Briana is probably the nicest person, especially with dogs. Lola took to her immediately and made her feel comfortable. Now, the grooming job was amazing. Sadie did an amazing job. Definitely will be coming back..especially if I'm greeted by Briana she has such a love for any kind of dog and a very sweet person. 10/10 recommend. And I will probably always recommend Sadie ? she did an among job with my Lil bb”

“Dani and Devin are very knowledgeable and have amazing customer service skills. I am fairly new to salt water aquariums and I came to them with zero knowledge. In total I’ve taken a couple hours out of their day just trying to pick their brains and learn. I never once felt like a nuisance especially after the many questions I asked. Dani has 10+ years worth of knowledge so if you are knew at salt water aquariums I suggest you come here!”

“Amy takes care of my dog and does an amazing job. He's an Aussie with a lot of hair. He always comes out looking like a show dog including his tail end "feathers". “My husband and I love visiting this shop to get the dogs special treats. We found it when we were looking for a place to get a doggy birthday cake. They also had adorable "barkday" accessories. The dogs love everything we have given them so far. We really like the collars they have available as well. I imagine we will have a nice collection pretty soon.”
