“I have used Import Specialty Auto for several years for oil changes and annual inspections on my 2006 Mini, and have been impressed with their thoroughness and professionalism. About a month ago I had been unable to avoid a deep pothole in a narrow alley and felt a thunk under the driver’s side of the car. It didn’t seem to have affected anything until it wouldn’t start last week. Fortunately, once I got it into the shop, the team at ISA discovered some extensive damage/leaks, etc. that required parts and repairs. They kept me posted every step of the way, and kept the costs as reasonable as they could. I trust this shop implicitly and my Mini is running beautifully! Thank you!”

“Brought in some older used tires that were well over the dot date of 10 years. Asked for their honest opinion of using them. They advised me they didn't think it was good idea. I ended up buying 4 used tires from them in great condition for a reasonable $380 mounted and balanced quick! Did not even spend 1 hr total time in there waiting ! I feel they are very very respectful and reasonable with a great turn around time! I will be trying to bring all my business here!”

Greg and Mike know their craft, and are extremely welcoming and professional. They are my go to mechanics and performed a miracle on my car. Runs better then it did when I bought it. “This is now my 4th visit to Mike’s and I will not go anywhere else! It can be hard finding somewhere you can trust to service your vehicle. This shop has blown my mind with their honesty and integrity. I can trust that I don’t need to call my husband, dad, or random man to confirm that I’m not being swindled. They care about their customers and do honest work. Twice now, a chain shop has recommended repairs that cost thousands that they discovered during oil changes/tire repairs. Recently, after bringing it to Mike’s, the total was $0 because the supposed “urgent” repairs have another 10-15k miles before they need to be addressed. The other time, the repairs needed were 1/2 the price as a dealership. I’ve had repairs done and tire swap-outs (winter to all-season). They do a thorough inspection every time, communicate clearly what work needs to be done AND estimates, and take the time to explain in a way I can understand. We won’t take my Subaru anywhere else. As a bonus, the shop dog is a cutie! This is a local business that deserves all the support. THANK YOU for keeping my car on the road and my family safe!”

“I came to Accurate Japanese Repair after a bad experience at another shop that left me in a rough spot, and I honestly can’t say enough about how differently they treated me.
I don’t know a lot about cars, and instead of talking over my head or rushing me, they took the time to educate me. From booking my appointment to calling back with answers to my questions, their communication was patient and kind throughout. They walked me through what was wrong, how they figured it out, and what to expect going forward (and repeated it without a hint of impatience while I took notes).
Money is tight, and I just paid another shop for work that didn’t address the problem. Accurate Japanese Repair didn’t make me feel bad about that. They helped me figure out what to prioritize, what could wait, and what to watch for so I wouldn’t end up stranded or making things worse in the future. They even gave me a heads up on repair costs I’d be looking at for potential future services needed.
I run my own business, and not having my car isn’t just an inconvenience, it means I can’t see clients. They understood and even contacted me to say it was safe to drive if I wanted to use it while waiting for a part needed to finish up the work. It’s refreshing to work with a shop that not only takes great care of the cars that come in, but also takes care of the people that come with them. I’ll happily be supporting their business going forward and I can’t thank them enough for helping me get back to running mine!”
