“While waiting on hold at my LARGE bank and later again at my LARGE credit union, I started thinking there must be a better way....
Started calling and visiting local/regional banks/cus and was told my wait time would be OR take a seat someone will be with you in......
Called Rio Grande Federal Credit Union and was able to speak to a banker nearly instantaneously. Super friendly, knowledgeable and able to answer my questions w/out putting me on hold or transferring me to another department(WHAT?!?!)
I have had EXTRAORDINARY service at the branch AND over the phone when I needed something.
If you like waiting on hold, seeing someone different every time, speaking to a call center-then this is NOT the place for you.
However-if you want your banking to be easy w/out long holds or call centers-check out RGFCU.”

I had a duplicate IRS charge on my account due to a mishap, which put me severely in the negative and they hustled and got it fixed for me. Thank goodness because I had no idea how I was going to get through the month until it was fixed. They had it done before the day was over. “I switched to ANB from Wells Fargo about 3 years ago. For the most part I really like this bank, the tellers are helpful and It seems they have a low turn over because I deal with the same people most of the time. That being said, there are a few things I really dislike, for starters they are not open Saturdays, not even until noon, they do not have an atm with the option to deposite, they are pretty slow when you go in to open a new account or get a new debit card issued, and setting up a online log in is pretty inconvenient since you have to wait on an email from them which has a code with a time expiration. Overall, a great bank (far better than WF), just need to be a little more convienient”

She made sure to pay attention to us as we were waiting as well as being incredibly thorough and informative throughout the entire appointment. The manger was also kind enough to follow up with me after I left my review regarding Angelicas great service. Would definitely recommend for someone who new to town who needs a lot of help!”
