While all of their staff is extremely talented, we have especially appreciated working with Dr. Llewy over the years. Her love for animals, genuine concern for their wellbeing, attention to detail, and informed, thoughtful approach have meant the world to us.
Two of our dogs have had complex medical needs. We lost our 15.5 year old dog last year, who lived 3.5 years longer than expected, and our 15 year old dog’s conditions continue to be well managed under her care.

“We have been driving out of our way to continue getting care for years, and that isn’t changing. Our dog is in her senior years, and we are confident we’ll have her for a long time to come. The staff here takes great care of her and tolerates her shyness and awkwardness very well. Vet techs, veterinarians, surgeons, and front desk staff are all fantastic. Our dog had to have dental surgery, and she was taken great care of. Plus, the work was excellent! I recently adopted a second kitten and the staff all told me they had been looking forward to meeting him all day when they saw the appointment on the calendar which made my day. My sweet girl is a bit timid and gets scared easily at the vet, but the team here made her feel so safe and comfortable right away. “Great care was taken by Dr Linklater to examine my older dog and she reviewed his history with me thoroughly and suggested a plan for improvement. We have hope this process is going to be helping pain management and rehab.
Update- after a month of work with Dr Linklater and others at the CRCC, my boy’s physical situation is improved. He has a brace for his 14 year old knee. He has been receiving acupuncture and laser treatments and i think they are helpful. Dr Linklater not only sees to the animal’s well-being but also addresses caregiver concerns and pressures. I appreciate her empathy and understanding and most of all her advice and counsel.”

“I was sitting a doggie who appeared to have ear mites, and the owners were out of the country. They got me in on a Saturday the same day I called. They were so kind and gentle. Turns out it was a bacterial infection. They cleaned its ears and got him the medicine to help him get better. I saw improvement by the next day, and the puppy was back to being happy!”

I just wanted to edit this review as we have just had to say goodbye to our Mocha. The care and attention we received from everyone, including Andrea the Practice Manager, who helped explain what was happening as well as Doctor T, who reviewed Mocha’s X-rays and confirmed that we were making the right choice in saying goodbye now, was so appreciated. Thank you for being there for us when we needed you most. We were able to bring our baby home and have a veterinarian hospice put Mocha down in the comfort of her own home thanks to the guidance and care we received at Denver Animal Hospital.”

Let us stay with her the entire time and help hold her so she felt safe. Definitely our most positive vet visit in the six years we have had our dog.
