PetSmart

Pet Stores
Hours: PetSmart is a large pet supply and services retailer that offers over 10,000 products for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and small animals like guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, and mice. Customers can shop online and choose to pick up their orders at local stores within two hours. Many store locations provide additional services such as dog training, grooming, pet boarding, PetSmart Doggie Day Camp, and pet adoption. The grooming services at PetSmart are highly praised when performed well. Several reviews highlight the skill of specific groomers, with one mentioning an excellent job fixing a previous poor grooming and another praising a groomer for a fabulous haircut. Customers appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, though some note that grooming departments can be short-staffed, leading to longer wait times or the need to schedule appointments well in advance. There are occasional delays at the counter and some inconsistency in grooming styles, but overall, the quality of grooming is considered good when performed by experienced staff. Customer experiences with other departments vary. Some mention difficulty finding help with fish, feeling that employees are more engaged in other tasks. Others enjoy watching their pets play and shopping for supplies, though some feel staff members appear bored or distracted. Overall, PetSmart provides a wide range of pet products and services, with notable strengths in grooming when staffed adequately and a friendly store environment.
