Elevations folks are great, but the company is to blame for continuing to use Dovenmuehle/Loss Mitigation to service their mortgage product. Its a horrendous experience every single time, with 9 out of 10 times wrong information. Pray you do not have an issue that lands you in Loss Mitigation because its a type of hell you can't escape from.

I rarely post reviews, but I feel compelled to call attention to the truly amazing staff at Lafayette's branch of Elevations CU. We just returned to the US from 2-year overseas, and had to re-create our life in Louisville. ECU, and particularly Victoria, have been stellar in getting our feet back under our desk financially. Literally every time I've gone to the branch or called in, I feel like I'm the only person in the building, even though everyone else is being served equally well. Kudos to Victoria and the entire staff. That absolutely ROCK!

This is the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. No communication with their customers about issues they need to resolve. I can go on for days how bad their customer service is. I recommend using another credit union for your banking needs.

You stand at the counter and also there are 3 -4 other customers there, and you are expected to slowly and loudly give the teller your account number. you could easily be putting your money in someone else's account if a number is off. Or someone could easily withdraw from your account if is under $100. Seriously? Their computer system is so old.

I was charged overdraft fee but they didn’t pay the transaction. Charged for services not rendered. Would never happen at the bigger banks.

Well today I had been asked numerous times questions about an old card. This card was with the Elevations credit.I don't appreciate being asked the same question multiple times by the same bank.

After many years of banking here I'm sad to say there's a thief that works at one of the branches. I set up a "Rags to Riches" account for my son. Suddenly, with no notice at all, the thief removed me as the account holder. No explanation, no email, no letter and no explanation from anyone at all. I wasn't given back the remainder of the balance. I called and emailed several times with no results. Now Lindsey Marie Killion from their legal department, who is also a divorce attorney, left a brief voicemail asking me to call her, yet, didn't answer the phone when I called. They act like I'm not allowed to keep two pennies to rub together, for my own son. These folks are misandrists and clearly encouraged the employee to victimize me. You would think that during a potential banking collapse they would want to retain clients. *After receiving a threat from Yelp, see picture, I've removed a sentence and changed the wording of another to avoid "drawing conclusions--about broader business practices"although there would be no need to discuss Elevations' business practices if they had not participated in defrauding me.* I shared my story with several other members who were not surprised by their actions as many told me of their own problems with this credit union. To whomever reads this from Elevations, I would like the employee who stole my account and whoever convinced that employee to victimize me to be referred for criminal charges. I would also like to know to what extent my personal and banking information was illegally disclosed in this process, in writing. Terrible customer service, 1 star isn't low enough to reflect the complete failure of an institution.

Love it except for the confusion about opening my accounts. I got a personal loan and my husband CO-SIGNED and yet he's the primary person on every account. My name even comes first alphabetically. It's a little gripe, but I don't know why they set up everything that way (I'm guessing it's because he's got a p*nis.)

Best banking experience we have ever had, Elevations is a bank that genuinely cares about its members and its local community. Thanks to Joel and Steve at the Lafayette branch we will be doing all of our banking here from now on, lifers as they say.

Elevations has always been helpful when I've asked. Are they perfect? Of course not. Neither am I. Have they made satisfactory efforts to help me with issues? Everytime, and with a pleasant and professional manner. I have experienced tellers who weren't in the best mood or seemed unhappy, but we all have bad days so I try to be pleasant since dealing with the public can be extremely challenging, especially with rude, self centered customers. Overall my experience has been good, thank you Elevations, my alternative to supporting big, corporate greed.

I love this credit union. It is a great place to keep your finances & to borrow. I have always had helpful and courteous experiences here. We have banked here for more than 35 years.

This complaint isn’t for this branch but for the company in general. They will charge you fees like there is no tomorrow. I do not recommend using them. They will not help you at all
