“The burgers are better than sonic , the breakfast sandwiches are better than McDonald's, the biscuits and gravy are just MMMMMM ,, kitchen closes at 7 and I ordered 7 bowls at 630 ,, not only did she make fresh mashed potatoes but another girl came in to help get my order out ready !! Plus you get 87 octane for the price of 85 ,,, thanks for getting up while it's still dark to take care of us early grinders ??”
“This is my main place to get gas because you get 87 Octane gas for 85 Octane prices.
It's also one of the only places left in the United States who will come out and pump your gas ⛽ .
They also sell propane, and rent U-Haul trucks and trailers, do oil changes, and more.
And if you call ahead there's a Pizza Hut next door and you can kill 2 birds in one stop.

I had an amazing experience at the Love's Travel Stop on Oliver Street in Lamar, Colorado, on June 2nd, 2024. The on-duty staff, Jonathan and Val, were absolutely superior in their customer service. They were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed.
What really stood out was Liz, a visiting off-duty staff member, who still embodied that Love's hospitality. Her warmth and helpfulness truly made a difference, even when she wasn't officially working.
This store exemplifies excellent customer service, and I will definitely be visiting again! Thank you to Jonathan, Val, and Liz for making my visit so pleasant.”

“This is THE PLACE to stop in Lamar. We have stopped here before during our cross-country trips and during this 2,000+ mile trip, we had to stop.
Top-tier gas! Very important to us and to our high-mileage vehicle.
Great store with food, including Dunkin Donuts.

“The construction seems non-ending but the employees make the best of it and they give you a good experience every time you're in there. I like the long tall thin guy that works in graveyard shift he's very polite respectful and always says hello when you come in the door without being offensive like at some loaf n jugs”

“Great stop for hot food, cold take out foods, drinks, or just a pit stop for gas.
As always, I'll add a positive suggestion to Love's, and that's automatic doors, push button entry both the restrooms and front doors.
It really shows the handicap community and travelers alike how important they are as well, and when people Google Search businesses who accommodate the handicap ♿ population, it's your business that will get their money, thanks, and positive word of mouth.

“I love that they offer 87 octane as "regular" this far west! I'm not sure you can find that combination anywhere else in Colorado. It saved me some 30+ cents per gallon! Dude working the counter was cool and friendly, too.”
