McDonald Collision is a family-owned auto body repair shop in Denver known for its dedication to customer service and quality work. The business emphasizes that certified technicians and advanced technology are important, but the people they serve are the most important part of their approach. They strive to listen carefully to each customer’s needs and use their expertise to find the best solution. Many customers have praised the shop for their thorough and organized process for estimates and repairs, with some describing the work as top-notch. The staff is often noted for being kind, professional, and respectful, making the experience more manageable, especially when customers are already upset about their vehicle damage. However, some reviews mention challenges due to the shop's busy schedule, with overcrowding and difficulty finding parking, which can impact service times. Communication issues have been reported, such as delays in vehicle work without prior notification, leading to inconvenience and extra costs like rental cars. One customer shared a negative experience with staff being unprofessional and disrespectful when trying to get a second estimate, especially regarding insurance and total loss claims. This encounter left a poor impression, with frustrations over perceived dishonesty and unhelpful responses from the staff. Overall, McDonald Collision is recognized for high-quality repairs and friendly service but can struggle with communication and capacity management. Customers appreciate their professionalism and craftsmanship but advise potential clients to be aware of possible delays and to clarify communication about timelines and estimates.

We arrived to collect our vehicle, only to find it in a state of disrepair that made it difficult to assess the work that had been performed. We had contacted them in advance to inform them of our arrival, providing ample time for them to present us with a clean vehicle for inspection of the repairs.
