“It was so good. I saw this place on tiktok and it was definitely the place to go!!! Ive tried many soup and dumplings that ive hated but this place absolutely takes the cake. Its full of flavor, moist and so chewy for the dumplings. We had 3 people we had a total of 83$ we did tip so came around 100$ cheaper than most places. I absolutely recommend this place!”

“Caring front desk ladies, for sure, as well as the assistants.
The dentist seemed a bit perplexed as to how to deal with me, as I went in to rule out dental as a cause for chronic headaches.
Up to date dental & X-ray equipment.”

“What a delightful bookstore! I found this place through a Google Search, and appreciated their website, and particularly all the Book Clubs they host there. I'd just moved to Parker and was looking for a way to make friends and expand my social circle, so I started attending both the Romance and Horror Book Clubs (yes, probably opposite ends of the spectrum, but they balance each other out!)

The Book Clubs are fun and dynamic, and we get into interesting discussions -- even when we disagree, but there's an emphasis on respecting each other's opinions and keeping things civil and friendly. I've been going steadily for the past 7 months, and look forward to each session. Plus, I'm expanding my reading repertoire and trying books/authors I wouldn't normally try, and discovering some new gems that way!

The bookstore itself is well-stocked, inviting, and I appreciate how involved they are in the local community -- teaming up with the local library or other businesses to host author signings, Book Fairs, and so on. It definitely provides that sense of community that you can't get from just ordering books online. I'm glad I get to support a locally-owned, independent bookstore, and feel like I'm part of an expanded family of book nerds who share a love of reading in all its many genres!”

“A Metaphysical Shop Operating at the Highest Vibration! Shining Lotus is my favorite metaphysical shop in Denver! Nestled between a nail salon and an animal hospital in a strip mall in University Hills, this *gem* of a small business will meet your every spiritual need. Co-owners Tim and Justin, and sales associate Laura, are all kind souls at your service when you enter their shop. I recently visited and Laura recommended the perfect healing combination of pocket stones for my sister who was recovering from pneumonia (Thank you, Laura). On another visit, Tim recommended crystals to help inspire my dad, a budding abstract painter at the age of 75 (Thanks, Tim!). I can browse their book selection for hours and their website is a phenomenal resource too! If you are looking to tap into your own inner wisdom while supporting a longstanding local treasure, swing by Shining Lotus Metaphysical Bookstore!”

“2026-June

There’s lots of parking right in front, which makes coming here super convenient. This store is amazing — there’s truly something for everyone. Books, collectibles, games, music, toys… you name it, they probably have it.

The staff were nice and welcoming, and the whole place had a fun, treasure‑hunt vibe. Always a great spot to browse and discover something new.

Happy shopping 🛍”

“It’s been a while since I’ve been in but I remember the staff being very engaging with their community. It’s a special space, more than a book store.”

“I've been with my family, and the reception from Terry was really good. He explained the disposition of the books on each area, and I learned there are much more new than used books. If you like military subjects, this is the place. But there is a great assortment of automotive books as well, many from Veloce publishing. When in Denver area, a visit to them is a must. Check the open times as it is not the regular business hours.”

“This place is amazing. I felt no judgement or rush or anything the other reviews said. I felt accepted and helped completely. I came in looking for offerings for my altar and I left with four books, a new tarot deck, anointing oil and my offerings. They're incredibly knowledgeable and helped me with every question I had. Their prices are reasonable too. I HIGHLY recommend. I will 100% be back. Yeah, if you come in 5 minutes before they close they're probably going to rush. I would too. A little common sense and human decency go a long way.”

“First time ever coming here and the atmosphere was really cool! I only bought one issue, but explored the whole store. Very chill vibes and the addition of the drink/coffee shop was great. Would love to come back next time I’m in Denver.”

“The entire atmosphere is very accepting. People from all walks of life travel through the halls of ACC. I enjoy the classroom sizes the most; it made for an easy transition from high school to college. When taking transfer, general Education classes —I can actually get to know my professors. Instead of taking a class with 300 other students, the classroom size of 28 (or less) makes it really personal.”

“What an amazing group of people working here! I ordered a few things online and wasn't able to pick them up for a while. I called a few times to coordinate and make sure they didn't end up back on the shelf and spoke with Sammy and another associate and everyone was super accommodating and helpful! Thank you so much!!!”
