“One of the BEST B&N experiences ever! They were prepping for a midnight release event, but they had so many beautiful and diverse displays set up with special editions, exclusive prints, handwritten recommendations on the shelves, multiple genres elevated, "if you like..." tables (TABLES!!!) set up...I've never felt more included in a bookstore ever in my life. From dark romance to horror and sci fi and sapphic fiction and epic fantasy and box sets and sprayed edge editions and music to match the vibes. I spent too many dollars and too many minutes this visit, and I still can't convince myself to regret spending a single one of them here that day”

“I had major tooth pain and had never been here before, but was able to get in right away. I was super scared and embarrassed but everyone made me feel at ease. My tooth was extracted and it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be! The dentist was very kind, explained everything she was going to do, which helped a lot. Overall, a great experience and I plan on returning for all of my dental needs. If you're deciding where to go, you should give them a try!”

“This place is a great neighborhood bookstore. They have a solid selection and what they don’t have, they’ll order it. Highly recommend going here instead of Amazon.”

“It is well organized and pleasant to be in. They also have a nice children’s area. My only complaint is that prices are consistently high compared to other retailers.”

“Prepare to be overwhelmed! Books upon books upon books. The greatest collection of military history books I've ever seen in my wide travels and bookstore wanderings. Very well worth the visit and don't forget to shop online as well. Simply fantastic!”

“Awesome guys in there. Perfect vibe and energy. Your ideal stones will literally jump out at you if youre digging thru one of the bowls. Very inexpensive and walked out of there with 3 stones and string for my pendulum for no more than around 5 bucks. Amazing place!”

“Stopped in today because I heard they carried recovery coins. I was specifically looking for something non religious, and Jenny was able to get me a nice selection. I ended up buying a simple one. She was able to offer some very nice and welcomed advice and I left feeling very positive. This is an amazing place.”

“Tattered cover was a delight to visit! When I was in HS, I competed in a slam poetry contest that awarded me $500 to this beautiful bookstore. For years, we passed by it and laughed about how $500 in books would be an insanely glorious date. As I visited home, my grandma and I decided to go! And baby, did we go! (We actually... went $100 over...) With the help of the wonderful staff, we were able to quickly locate the books on our wishlist, laugh, and talk literature, which is a dying, cherished hobby. If the book wasn't in person, someone from the staff quickly added it to our online cart. If we needed book recommendations, they were offered, like they were waiting for someone to ask! We were in and out leaving feeling so excited to dive into our new purchases! I am very grateful for the staff at Tattered! Thank you all for the refreshing reminder getting lost in a book is one of my favorite things to do.”

“To say that the staff, owners and volunteers have huge hearts is an understatement! This nonprofit warms my heart - this weekend I had the opportunity to volunteer as a grief mentor. The program director JJ matched up the grief participants with the perfect horses for the different personalities. Tears were released, and joy and gratitude was expressed in everyone.”

“This place is amazing. I felt no judgement or rush or anything the other reviews said. I felt accepted and helped completely. I came in looking for offerings for my altar and I left with four books, a new tarot deck, anointing oil and my offerings. They're incredibly knowledgeable and helped me with every question I had. Their prices are reasonable too. I HIGHLY recommend. I will 100% be back. Yeah, if you come in 5 minutes before they close they're probably going to rush. I would too. A little common sense and human decency go a long way.”

“This shop is open to the public, in case you are searching for studying material. Can be a bit confusing to find on the campus, but the staff is very helpful once you make it inside”

“The entire atmosphere is very accepting. People from all walks of life travel through the halls of ACC. I enjoy the classroom sizes the most; it made for an easy transition from high school to college. When taking transfer, general Education classes —I can actually get to know my professors. Instead of taking a class with 300 other students, the classroom size of 28 (or less) makes it really personal.”
