“Iv been working out here since August of 2023. It’s been nothing but good vibes and energy here, full of so many positive individuals!! I recently started training with Tom, one of the personal trainers. He’s absolutely amazing, has shown great skills and knowledge on what he’s doing! He takes training people very serious and will help support you in anyway possible! He’s made me feel very comfortable, listened to all my feed back and has been committed to holding me accountable to my own standards and goals. Highly recommend this gym and if you’re looking for some additional help reaching your goals Tom is your guy!!”

For both personalized training and 24/7 gym access the membership is a great value.I have learned so much from my trainer Jordan. She is knowledgeable, fun, and pushes me towards improvement in a positive manner. She really puts in the time to think of new ways to help me improve and reach my goals. I feel like I am learning skills and fundamentals I will be able to use for the rest of my life - which is exactly what I was looking for. “The community at Shri Studios is welcoming and encouraging. I started practicing at Shri after my hip surgery, at a time when I needed patience, guidance and understanding. Each teacher was more than willing to help me modify my poses and they never made me feel like I couldn't do something. Every time I leave Shri, I take a big audible sigh because I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. “I love 9Round! 9 rounds, 3 minutes each, with 30 seconds of active rest in between. There are no set class times so you show up whenever works for you AND they have trainers there the entire time so you can get one-on-one tips, training, and assistance every time you go. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to push myself and have fun while getting stronger and more fit. The stations also keep it really fun and mix it up (heavy bags, speed bags, jump rope, weights, etc). Seriously cannot speak highly enough of my experience with 9Round! The best part of it all are the people—the trainers I interact with (special shoutout to Carly, Gia, Kennady, and Javier) are absolutely incredible and make it more than just a workout. Their positivity and fun are what sets 9Round apart from everywhere else. You feel like a part of a community, and I’ve never had that before in a gym or workout. It helps hold me accountable, and I look forward to going every time. If you want a place where you’ll be engaged, see results, and be motivated to keep coming back, I definitely recommend 9Round!”

“Love the Mat Pilates classes and private training offered by Erica Ruge of Body & Motion. Erica is a pro athlete who is well educated and experienced in Pilates. She continuously expands her skills and knowledge by participating in clinics and certifications. Erica provides top notch Mat classes and challenging private sessions using the reformer and other Pilates equipment. She takes time to learn about her client’s goals and any physical limitations or injuries they may have. She provides modifications when needed and structures her classes and private training to accommodate her client’s objectives. I highly recommend this business, and confirm your time is well spent when you enroll in classes taught by Erica.”

“I love the indoor tennis bubbles at LAC. The owners and most of the front desk staff are super friendly. Old school kind of gym feel. Locker rooms could probably use a little refresh but their fees are reasonable for what you get.”

“My wife and I have been going to this "Y" for a few years now and have found it to be a great place to workout and visit with friends old and new. If I had to mention one failing it would be the stationary exercise equipment does not have a planned service schedule causing some equipment not to function as it should. Thus 4 stars instead of 5 stars.”

“Grit Fitness has been a life changing experience for me. When I first sat down with the owner Sam I was inspired by his knowledge and compassion. He was confidant his program would give me the results I was looking for and offered a challenge that includes the accountability so many of us need. Joey is a skilled trainer with the perfect personality to push you without making you feel bad. You want to do well and make him proud. He is exceptional at seeing where he needs to adjust for the individual based on their level and physical ability. The personal attention you receive here is unlike any gym I have ever been a member of. Mary Beth is always available with words of encouragement and answers to questions. She is kind and friendly. One of the best parts of being here is the support from the other members. This is a family atmosphere where everyone celebrates your victories and encourages you on your off days. I have achieved goals in 6 weeks that go beyond losing weight and gaining strength (which I have done to an amazing degree), I have made gains in my blood lab results, medication levels, and even my balance. Most of all Grit has helped me find hope again, meet people and feel like I am a part of something special.”
