“I work at a nearby urgent care. Someone from the pharmacy was kind enough to contact us directly on behalf a customer. They helped the customer get set up for an appointment and even verified our prices for them. She went the extra mile to locate a pharmacy that would have his prescription in stock and gave him all the information he would need to bring to us. I was really impressed and appreciative that she went to the extra length to help this person get the medication they needed.”
“I dropped a smoothie on the ground and they were really nice about it and didn't make me pay for it. Thank you. I really enjoy their $6 sushi Wednesdays and their pre-sliced mango. Great deals!”

“Not sure why they have low ratings, the pharmacists and techs are always super friendly. Meds are filled incredibly fast considering how small a crew they have. Never a lick of judgement when I call and ask when my controlled substance needs to be filled which is refreshing. Happy I switched.”
“Your local town grocery store. Safeway is a large corporation. In all of my travels and places of living this is by far the very BEST Safeway ever. Every non grocery related idea I have had, Safeway has supported fully! We bought 50 bouncy balls for a kid activity. Holiday balloons, Last minute help to save the day for a party. Vegan options, fresh options, your childhood favorite snacks. The best part is the friendly customer service of the people who work their butts off with a smile. We know these guys by name they always say hi, and are so encouraging and supportive to everything we've ever had going on. Where on earth does this exist? HERE! Thanks Safeway. We love you guys!”
“I have noticed a big improvement in this Safeway since Tonya D has been managing it. I recently had excellent customer service from Eileen G. who went above and beyond to help me. In general, the employees seem friendlier and more helpful than they used to be. I'm giving it four stars instead of 5 because the quality of food is not up to my super high nutritional standards, but for a regular grocery store it's good and I am happy to have this near my home.”
“This is actually my absolute favorite grocery store.
The employees are incredibly kind and attentive. The managers have always been quick to spot problems. The pharmacy people are actually helpful, and appear to actually have time to spend to help us out. I see the same people time after time in the produce, deli and butcher departments. Brandi in particular has been great.
It's a bit smaller than some of the area grocery stores. Certainly smaller than the terrifying King Soopers behemoth now down the street. (Which I absolutely hate. It should not take 20 minutes just to navigate the chip aisles. And that's PLURAL.)
Meanwhile, in the Safeway, everything runs smoothly, I can get the vast majority of my weekly shopping done, and if something's wrong, I can actually get assistance. The produce is fresh and delicious and quite a wide selection for its size.
Absolutely the only quibble I have is the selection of gluten free products. I'd love to see Jovial pasta, Mission's chickpea tortillas, maybe some Feel Good Foods dumplings, Realgood Foods chicken tenders, King Arthur gf bread flour, Brazi Bites and a couple others that are staples in our house.
With that I could pretty much stop going to the KS altogether, and enjoy my fast grocery trips that accomplish everything we need.”
