It's a closed building but the area is great and beautiful and right down by the river

If you have trouble getting around need to watch your step different doorways do have steps. The restrooms are very low. A lot of water puddles and mud in parking area. Other than that it's a good place to get together.

About Backbone Special Event Center
The Backbone Special Event Center accommodates receptions, meetings, and private parties; allowing customers the freedom to create their own atmosphere by choosing music, food, and their own decorations. The rustic, western building with a patio has great views of the Devil's Backbone. The exterior gives the feel of an old stage stop. The interior is approximately 1700 square feet with barn wood walls and concrete flooring. The main gathering room has a 20 foot bar inlaid with western artifacts. Immediately off the main room is a smaller meeting area and the outside entrance to the flagstone patio. The building comfortably accommodates up to 75 guests. The center is located 2.4 miles west of Loveland, just off of U.S. Highway 34.
