About Murphy USA
Murphy USA is an American corporation operating a chain of retail gas stations that are primarily located in proximity to Walmart stores. It was founded as a spin-off of Murphy Oil in 2013 and was ranked 279 on the Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations by revenue in 2018.
Murphy USA is known for offering the cheapest gas in the area, though it often has long lines due to a lack of pumps. The inside of the stations is clean and well-stocked with snacks, but they do not offer any hot food options. Customers have noted that the service can be inconsistent, with some employees being more helpful than others, and issues with broken pumps or card readers. However, the overall consensus is that the prices are amazing, and the stations are well-maintained and staffed by polite employees.
