“What this RV park had going for it is location. It’s just outside the Great San Dunes Natl Park. There are only 20 sites here and they have full hookups. The sites are a bit close together. The men’s restroom was adequate with 3 showers behind restroom-like stall doors. Number one shower was missing a clothing hook and the lock was barely hanging on. We did a little walking through the area around the playground and picked up some mean looking stickers that we called ‘goat heads’ when I was a kid so check your shoes after walking. You don’t want any of those in your RV. There is a camp store and restaurant on the property but it’s a bit of a walk. We didn’t check out the restaurant but my wife told me it closed at 4:30 the day we arrived (Sunday). I noticed 2 gas pumps in front of the camp store but no diesel pump. If you want to enter the park early then this RV park is the place to stay.”
