“I don't eat a lot of meat. I went into Carneceria Santa Rosalia because it was close to work, and I needed to get some meat for my dogs. I thought I might be able to get an inexpensive beef for them and not have to fight a line in the grocery store. The food and the meat in this well kept, immaculately clean carneceria was beautiful and FRESH! Every kind of meat (chicken, beef, pork) that I could imagine was displayed in an inviting array of sustenance just begging to be bought and nurture a meat eaters soul. It actually made me want to find a recipe for beef and partake. The ground beef the butcher offered me was quite obviously of superb quality and priced MORE than fairly. I didn't have the heart to feed it to my dogs, so I tried, in my very poor Spanish, to ask for a more humble "cut" of beef. I just didn't have the heart to tell the butcher it was for my dogs, and I was embarrassed when he replied to me that it was a good price. Yes. Yes, it most certainly was, but just a little too good for my dogs. I've mentioned this store to all of my co-workers and would recommend it highly to all. Great prices. De hecho, me dio ganas de encontrar una receta de carne de res y participar. La carne molida que me ofreció el carnicero era obviamente de excelente calidad y tenía un precio MÁS que justo. No tuve el corazón para dárselo a mis perros, así que traté, en mi muy pobre español, de pedir un "corte" de carne más humilde. Simplemente no tuve valor para decirle al carnicero que era para mis perros, y me avergoncé cuando me respondió que era un buen precio. Sí. Sí, ciertamente lo fue, pero un poco demasiado bueno para mis perros. He mencionado esta tienda a todos mis compañeros de trabajo y se la recomendaría a todos. Precios grandiosos. Hermosa carne!”

He really approaches each animal like it was his own and you feel that from the time you drop it off to the time you pick it up. I always buy the highest quality meats, and always have my Stadium Mustard from Cleveland Ohio shipped to Denver for my sausages and dogs. But with Polidori, it's best just to eat by itself. The cheddar cheese is $1.50 extra and bacon is an extra $4.50.Usually when you order a side of bacon at any breakfast place you get at least three or four slices of bacon but on this sandwich for $4.50 extra you get a tablespoon worth of bacon bits.Guys we know things are more expensive these days but this is gouging.”

“Great place to deliver food. The staff here is nice and freindly and they are very fast and professional at getting you unloaded here. I was in and out in about an hr. There's plenty of parking out on the streets if you arrive here late at night. Just don,t be blocking anything, and noone will bother you. The staff shows up at 0700, so if there's a door available between docks 1-6, just back into one of them. The staff will come out, knock on your door, and they will get the bills from you and tell you to back in.”

“I love everything about WSD! The warm welcoming shop atmosphere, thoughtful product diversity featuring other local vendors and the knowledgeable staff. Everything about this place is top tier. I ordered half a hog share and I was impressed with the entire process start to finish. When you order a hog share or cow share from farms, they generally don't give you all the options and level of detail that you get when ordering through WDB. They go into a lot more detail about your cuts, your options and generally just level set expectations to avoid any surprises at pickup. These extra considerations are greatly appreciated. Every cut was FRESH, vacuum sealed and labeled. When you order from a farm they usually freeze everything. I thought the fresh element was very thoughtful.When I picked up my order I asked a slew of other questions about the beef they sell and Griffin was patient and extremely helpful. I've been a customer of WSD over the last 8 years or so and I'm always impressed with the consistency of the products they sell as well as the knowledge and expertise of their staff. Truly remarkable! Keep up the great work!”
