“If you are in the Pagosa area looking for a fishing guide shop, look no further: Williams Creek Anglers is the place to go. Called to book a guide a week in advance and spoke to Dave the owner, you gotta love when the owner is answering the phone. Got booked right away with Bob. Bob called the same day to check in on our needs, super cool dude! Met Bob at the shop the morning of, got fitted, and off we went. I was a first-time angler and I was fishing with my buddy who has fished before. Bob is such a great instructor. Very patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He had me accurately casting backhanded and overhand in no time. He put us on a ton of fish, and we each landed over a dozen+ during our half day trip. He spent a fair amount of time with me, the newbie, but he did not ignore my buddy either, great balance. I am hooked thanks to these guys!”

Almost forgot to mention, they are great for winter AND summer gear! I went in for winter sale items and ended up finding a ton of summer items/clothing as well.”

“We had a great experience here last week when I got a last-minute invite to this snowy state. The two ladies working there were SO friendly and helpful. We wound up spending over $100 on masks, gloves, clothing & 3 'sleds' - or whatever they're called, lol. The racks were packed with shirts, jackets and pants, but since the shop is small, it is difficult to find your size and match your preference. But hey, check it out anyway, you just never know!I'll definitely visit here if I return to Pagosa Springs!”

“My original review of Let it Fly wasnt that great. I believe I first visited the shop in 2024 and felt like a goober amateur out of town fly fisherman with the looks i got from the staff. I went back early season in 25, honestly rather begrudgingly as they seemed to be the only fly shop open. I got a totally different experience, they guys there were helpful, gave me and brother advice on places to fish and what flies could maybe work. There advice made trip pan out rather good. Im definitely happy I gave them another chance.
