If my truck didn't act up, I would have never had the opportunity to meet the guys from High Country Diesel & Automotive.

My wife called in the morning to see if High Country Diesel & Automotive could help. She explained that we are up visiting from Corpus Christi, TX and will be heading back Thursday. We needed an expert opinion to see if we could proceed safely and/or fix the problem.

They were busy, booked up, (as a reputable shop should be) but they made time for us given the circumstances. Who does that anymore these days?

High Country Diesel & Automotive took the time to diagnose and FIX my truck and get me back on the road with the confidence to travel the next 1200miles.

Oh, but they DID EVEN BETTER than just fix my truck, they talked to us like we were family and advised us of the incoming storm. They even recommend we make adjustments to our travel plans considering there is a serious storm coming in. Who does this kind of business these days? We were so lucky to have come to this shop.

Afterwards they hooked us up with a High Country Diesel sweatshirt. (Probably thought I was cold coming from Texas and felt bad for me)

I recommend that you DO NOT go anywhere else but HIGH COUNTRY DIESLE & AUTOMOTIVES.

“I was on my way to my daughters in Buena Vista, CO from Lincoln, NE when-what i thought was my alternator-went out. I was nearing the pass after Conifer when my car lost all power. I contacted Rocky Mountain AutoHaus and I got my car towed there while Chris immediately ordered an alternator to be delivered from CA on Tuesday (this was Friday and I was supposed to be back on the road Tuesday). There was no restocking fee should it not be the alternator. Monday morning when they checked out my car they discovered the alternator belt had broke and it might be only that and not the alternator. Chris and crew replaced the alternator belt and necessary parts and the car ran like a champ. No need for the alternator, money saved. They very certainly could have taken advantage of the situation in many ways but they were honest, preemptive and got to my car as soon as they could. I told my daughter to use them for whatever she needed in the future because finding an honest, thorough et capable mechanic goes a long way. Chris and crew-I appreciate you and made it back home with absolutely no problems!”
