Auto Repair in Evergreen, CO

“… I can’t stand what’s happened to the tire market over the past 20 years but there is nothing I can do about it.

Or so I thought,until I realized, that I didn’t need to subject myself to listening to a bunch of overinflated claims, dubious “warranty and protection packages” that are great, if you live down the hill in a burb or downtown and the location is a block away—and you never really need to contest something.

I stopped into Evan’s after wasting nearly 30 minutes at one of the major chains while I was down the hill. After watching the associate I was working with struggle to find the tires I wanted; I wasn’t willing to drive to Brighton (which was the only location he could confirm had 4 of them) in order to secure them, nor was I willing to roll the dice and see if they would arrive in the usual shipment that would arrive the following Monday at the location I was at.

I needed tires that function here in the foothills. Have a more aggressive tread pattern, capable of towing a reasonable load but don’t sound like I’m rolling in Peterbuilt on I-70. Within 5 minutes Kat showed me a couple of tires that were a well known brand, drew up a quote and scheduled me for an install the following afternoon. No up-charges, no trying to sell me on an extended warranty, no BS!

Love the tires, but moreover—loved the simplicity of getting them done quickly and with a local business that I trust.

I suggest that opposed to standing in the lobby of some chain or membership club watching them play the shell game of “what’s in stock, what’s on sale, what’s eligible for a mail in rebate…and my all time favorite…”This is what I drive on”…that you support Evan’s Auto. The prices are competitive and the lack of BS is refreshing.”

“Peter was really helpful. I had a new (1998) 4Runner that had overheated and I was so worried it was a bad radiator and would cost a lot. He did a test to make sure the engine wasn’t damaged, changed the radiator cap, and had me on the way! Honest and really friendly.”

“Review of the car wash only - simple self serve car wash set up but it worked great! No credit cards - takes quarters only and bring plenty so you don’t run out ($2 for 4 min) minimum so you need 8 quarters to get the machine going.”

“This review is a little late but still deserving. I was traveling in my RV visiting my sister and her family in Evergreen when I had a tire issue. I ran over a very large screw and bolt (probably where all the construction is downtown). Thankfully I was right by Goodyear!
I could jear the air escaping. I needed a new tire which they had to order. They got me back on the road the next morning.
Everyone I encountered was so kind. They provided excellent service and went above what would be expected to secure my RV and make sure I was comfortable while I waited.”

From the top down, Alex, the store manager, went out of his way to rectify an automotive situation that occurred.

He was extremely ethical, kind, and provided wonderful customer service, and it seems as though that he has trained or is in the process of training everyone in this Walmart to be the same way!

Stevie, who overseas automotive, much like Alex, went out of his way to make sure that the issue that I had was resolved.

Calling in on his day off, making himself available, everything someone looks for in upper management.

And the crew at the auto service center was the same. A great group of people who went out of their way to make things right.

Michael, a technician who has been here for quite some time, has always been fantastic at customer service and took it up a notch in my most recent visit. He’s a true asset to the Walmart team.

Ashton, Damien, Alex and the ENTIRE crew here are to be commended for extraordinary customer service.

I hope that Walmart senior management sees this review and lets each of these individuals know what a wonderful job they’ve done by me.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WALMART AND SPECIFICALLY THEIR AUTOMOTIVE CENTER TO ANYONE.”
