“This is very educational place to take kids! Teachers, this is a great place for educational field trips!
There are lots of trails for the public use for free along the Arkansas River. A great place for wildlife watching. Pack a lunch and eat along the river.”
“While I have never needed the client services provided by ACPC, their staff as re exceptionally compassionate and the work they do is very important. I support them monthly and in other small ways (collecting and returning ink/toner cartridges to purchase office as supplies for them). They do an AMAZING job, especially considering they get NO government funding. Please consider supporting them!”

“This Zoo is one of the most underrated places in Pueblo! My two year old daughter and I visit often, take a lunch and a blanket, and take our time visiting the animals. We have a picnic lunch in the shade and it's our happy place. It is peaceful, cozy, well maintained, and the staff is always lovely. We try to catch feedings or informational talks when they announce they are happening on the loud speaker. I do enjoy that there aren't many people when we go, but I do hope more people will visit and appreciate it the same way we do. I hear there are talks of it being closed down and what a shame that would be for our community and especially the children. We learn and experience so much here. Please remember that this is such a beautiful place to visit even for just a safe walk, a picnic, the contact area for kids is great, and it's great for play dates or regular dates!! What a gem!! Thank you to the Staff at the Zoo for all you do ?”
