So few small zoos left in the world. Animals are well cared for andhas a great history from the early 20th century.

We always have e a great time here. While they may not have as much as bigger zoo's they're steadily growing and always adding new exhibits. Every year they add just a little more. So glad pueblo has this.

We were there for Electric Criters. Beautiful as always.
The Pueblo Zoo is home to more than 250 animals representing 125 different species from around the world. As an Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited facility, the Pueblo zoo meets the highest standards in animal care and guest experience. The zoo covers twenty-five acres in gorgeous Pueblo City Park. Education outreach programs serve nearly every elementary school in Pueblo County, reaching thousands of children each year. Camps, on-site programming and volunteer opportunities give youth a chance to dive deeper on zoo grounds. Partnerships with the library and business partners provide free admission and reduced to those who cannot afford to visit the zoo.
