“As far as Walmart goes, this one is pretty good. Technically a Super Walmart, it's on the small size. They carry food but nothing fresh, only refrigerated or frozen, and non perishables. Many of the other Walmart staples (clothes, home, pharmacy, personal items). Popped in to pick up sewing supplies while spending a week here in Steamboat. This store was clean although a little crowded with merchandise, probably because it's small. For COVID precautions they seem to be doing good. Masks required (by county). All staff elevating masks. Aisles were indicated one way. For the most part people were respecting one another's personal space.”

“We visit Steamboat once or twice a year and this is our go-to grocery store. Overall clean an well organized. Can always find what we need. Often the produce stock is low. We always find what we need but it looks like maybe they have more space than they can stock. For COVID, all staff were wearing masks (required by county) and the aisles were marked for one way traffic. People seemed to be respecting personal space of others.”

“This place puts up with the thousands of tourists a year for the local views of mountains and beautiful scenic trails around the county. This is a 5 store grocery store. They could complain, but they give you grade A service. Well done Safeway. My grandpa ran a Safeway in the early 70s In Northern California. I had high expectations when walking in and they met them.”
