“A throwback motel, to be sure, but there's lots to love here. Great location in the heart of Steamboat, right across from a grocery store, close to trails, shops, restaurants. Best shower I think I've ever experienced at any level of hotel. Very friendly, accommodating staff at the front desk. The breakfast is a bit anemic, but that's a minor complaint. This is a great place, and I would stay there again.”

“Great pet friendly hotel rooms with lots of storage space. Kind staff. Phenomenal restaurant (baja salmon - mango salsa/cilantro lime rice — and the bluebell salad - arugula/blueberries/goat cheese/candied walnuts - with fresh delicious meals to fill up any hungry traveler.

*Important note: There are bears in the area and every drink, food, gum, candy, coolers, must be removed from your car. Sept 2026 had a 410% increase in bear incidents from the previous year. Be aware. Take precautions when walking dogs.”

“A wonderful destination for the poor people of Steamboat Springs. Every suite is beautifully decorated with stained furniture and curtains. Plus the old, cheap appliances really make a bold statement. All artwork is locally sourced from Dollar Tree, and the paint-splattered floors have a nostalgic, abject poverty feel. The dishes and carpet look just like something you'd see in a documentary about an abandoned IHOP. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with the fresh scent of a fish market in Jamaica. We really enjoyed our asphalt view, and the sight of dumpsters along the tree line. If you love scratched plastic, sticky floors, and a lack of air conditioning, this is the perfect place for you! My grandfather said it brought back fond memories of being a child during The Great Depression.”

“Would absolutely stay here again! Dolores was wonderful and so helpful during our stay. The hot tub is indoors and both it and the pool were really clean. I also really loved the little sitting area by the river it was so peaceful. Super close to nice restaurants and shopping too. The room was also clean, the beds were comfy, and the water pressure for the shower was perfect. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we will definitely return.”

“Fantastic lodging location at the base of Steamboat Resort! Close to newest gondola, Wild Blue. Torian Plum is well kept up, great staff. Wonderful amenities; pool, hot tubs, workout rooms, ski lockers, underground parking…Several restaurants within easy walking distance. Easy walk to the base as well!”

“Wonderful, quaint spot right in the heart of downtown Steamboat. Not a 5-star boutique hotel by any means but what a pleasant delight upon arrival. We got the junior family suite or whatever they call it; had a queen bed in one room then a Jack and Jill style bathroom connecting the room to 2 twin beds. Perfect for a family of 4! Great to have designated parking, staff was 10/10, Clear, concise communication. I’d definitely stay at the Bristol again.”

“This is an amazing place but it can get sooooo crowded, especially around 5pm. I would probably not go around this time ever again. Personally, I would prefer to pay more $ for less a crowd or for special entry early in the morning.”

“This was my first time in Steamboat Springs so wasn’t familiar with the area. The Hotel is conveniently located within 10 minutes of downtown and it looked like there were shuttles available. Our window overlooked the gondolas and the ski resort, which was really cool and gave us a heads up on the weather daily. The room was standard, but clean & had everything we needed. If you’ve ever stayed at a Gravity Haus property, you kind of know the layout. There wasn’t really a co-working space, so if you’re working remote there are only a few options in the lobby. And the artwork above the fridge was AWESOME.😎 The staff was wonderful - everyone we spoke with was friendly and super helpful! Parking is limited, but there’s an option if the lot is full. I would definitely stay here again. Didn’t have time to visit the restaurants, pool or hot tub. The weekend was overcast and rainy, but what a beautiful place!”
