“The team there was so helpful and patient with us in determining the best tire for the vehicle and our budget. They were polite and worked hard, prioritizing customers and satisfactorily meeting all their customers needs. Usually, most tire stores are first come first serve which is appropriate but if they could help someone quickly it didn't detour from serving the other customers. Thank you for getting my granddaughter safely back on the road.”
“Kenny, the owner of the shop, is a very honest man and he will do good work on your vehicle like it is his own. I believe they are a little shorthanded on staff at the moment so reservations are a must and you should call ahead. He mentioned he was looking for a technician to work under him also, I would love to work under this honest man but sadly I know little about cars!”

“I arrived at this location 1 hour before they closed. I needed additional service done to my car outside of just an oil change. One of the other Grease Monkey locations (136th) told me they couldn’t help me since there was only two of them working. The two guys working at 120th had no problem giving me the help and assistance I needed. Phil was the gentleman that took me in and he was accompanied by one other gentleman, Angelo. This location was super friendly and willing to give me the assistance I needed. I strongly suggest avoiding the 136th location and just go the extra 3 miles to the 120th location. Much better service and people that care. Thank you Phil and Angelo, you guys are awesome!”

“I have a 2011 Ram 1500 with 79,000 miles in very good condition overall. One day the truck went into limp mode. I took the truck to a couple of other local mechanics, they took the diagnosis fee and told me it couldn't be fixed. The Dealership said it would be at the earliest the end of September before they could look at it. I did one more Google search . This time Alternative Auto came up. I called and Dale said that he could look at it. And quickly gave me a diagnosis and firm price for repairs. Fixed it quicker than the time frame given. And this truck is running like new again. At the price given. I will never use another mechanic besides Alternative Auto again. Best professional service I have ever seen.”
“Oil change was extremely easy. Received photos of the courtesy inspection via text message while the service was taking place. Nobody tried to up sale me on anything and I felt I got honest and reasonably priced work. Even got to pay via Apple Pay before arriving to expedite pickup. “Had an issue with our car that left us stranded in Nebraska on a Saturday night. Attempted to have a mobile mechanic fix the issue in Nebraska, but he ended up leaving us with more damage. We phoned Mountain View Automotive on Sunday morning. They welcomed us to have our car towed there, gave a realistic expectation of when the car would be seen (the next day) and reassured us. Had our car towed there by Sunday evening. John was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful, transparent, honest and attentative. He provided updates to us about when our car arrived to the shop, when initial diagnostics were completed, anticipated repairs and costs of those repairs, and suggestions for other needs the car may have. They did not pressure us to do additional, unneeded repairs/adjustments to the car. They spent time explaining what needed to be done and why and answered any questions we had. They also have payment plans if that is something a customer needs. The cost of our repairs ended up being half of what John had originally estimated. We had our car ready for pick-up again on Tuesday afternoon. I cannot possibly speak more highly of Mountain View Automotive, their work, their honesty and transparency.”

I really liked the idea one of the technician got in car with me and drove around the block to hear the sound I was hearing when I start the car, and continues when driving. They found the issue, and now the noise is gone within a few hours after I dropped it off.”
“I recently had my engine replaced for my 2015 Kia forte. Staff were excellent and I received a very fair price. When I got the car back there was a small leak in a gasket on an axel which is very common for my make and model. The service manager, Jim, personally took my car back and replaced not only my leaking gasket but also the opposite side which was not leaking. He was incredibly kind, professional and even showed me that my tie rod is failing. I appreciate everything he and his crew did! They were fantastic!”

“This is a family friendly business. Went in for an alignment issue and it ended up being a tire belt separated. They were honest and caring. They could’ve said I had more problems than it did and definitely could’ve taken advantage of me. They did not. They treated me like family. Definitely recommend this place.

“My 2004 jeep was giving me some issues, spoke to Matt about it. He was patient and addressed my concerns of what I was experiencing with my vehicle. Matt was thorough in inspecting my vehicle, then made suggestions in which direction to go and how to handle the issues. We made a game plan and I will be returning to get the work he suggested done for my Jeep.”
“We took our vehicle in for service. We told them the heater fan motor was bad and that there was a defective memory module. The fan motor made an obvious noise. The memory seat has been defective since 2021 (we had tried to get the seat fixed in 2021 but they said they couldn't find a problem with it). We have a 3rd party warranty. They called to say the fan motor needs replacement and the memory module is shorted and needs replacement. They refuse to put in an aftermarket part that would be warrantied by the 3rd party. That part would cost $74 as opposed to the $500 for their part. Now they want over $500 for the diagnosis. We TOLD THEM what needed replacing! Now we need to take our vehicle to another repair shop that will put in the parts that have been approved by our warranty company. This is the worst customer service experience we have ever had here! They have cut the diagnosis fee in half in response to this review.
I have to give kudos and credit when it is due. Fixed Operations Director Bill Wheeler canceled ALL charges when we went to pick up our vehicle! This is good service. What makes it GREAT service is that he also gave a recommendation for another company that can work with our warranty company. He also said he would call them to help make our repairs easier,”
“Always great service here and my most recent visit did not disappoint either. Quick oil change and they even fixed my windshield wiper fluid that wasn't coming out. This had been an ongoing issue and they took care of it for me. Great place for an oil change! Thanks guys!”
