“This grocery store rivals the big chain stores in the city. They have a large parking lot in front that is easy to get into even if you are in a wheelchair or have difficulty getting around. the store looks inviting from the outside but wait until you get inside. They have a big variety and selection but they also have a flower shop, a deli/pizzeria and a sporting goods section. The produce looked very fresh and there is a lot to choose from. Lots of coolers full of cold and frozen items to pick from too. The staff I encountered were all very friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised at this place. Then when leaving it looked like they may also be the U-haul place in town, they must believe in providing service in Walsenburg.”

“We usually go to the Trinidad Safeway. Going to this one in Walsenberg was a very happy surprise! It's clean, there's way more than one register open so we didn't have to wait to get checked out. The food selection was much better, with better options, and not a single product we found on the shelves was expired. It's so going to be worth the extra 20 minutes of a drive to shop where everything just feels nicer.”
