“We visited their first ever Sale in Tampa and traded in our current piano for another Grand Piano (Yamaha G3) back in 2023. Hale Ryan helped us through the process. He was very knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction. However, we had some issues with it initially, so we were a bit skeptical at the time as we were told it was fully refurbished. Rockley Foundation was very responsive and found somebody locally to come over multiple times to fix all the issues. It turned out to be a great family piano for our daily use. We enjoyed playing it for couple of years and then we happened to go to another one of their sales just to see if they had anything else we might be interested in. We met Hale once again and he was very professional as always and we leaned up on his knowledge and expertise. We ended up trading in our Piano and upgraded to a Steinway Model-3. We were able to do a 0% financing and these are partially tax deductible as it is considered a cash donation to the foundation that donates to the music programs of the universities they partner with. My overall experience has been very positive and certainly recommend Rockley Foundation if you are looking for a Piano.”
“This is such an awesome place! We love them here! We often frequent their blue tag sales and get some awesome deals on holidays. Their team is kind, courteous, and so strong, wooooot- We had a great experience and we will be back for lamps, dressers, couches, pianos, desks, beds, paintings, dining tables, and bedroom sets. Thank you so much!”
“Love the artwork here. I've been photographing cars with the building as a backdrop for years. Always appreciated the building as a canvas. The owner is also very nice and I remember when detour used to paint absolutely amazing art on the side.”
“One of the most helpful places for the addict still suffering
Also, for someone wanting to volunteer- they have many opportubities and its a great way to give back. Thank you for all that you guys do”
“I donated a bunch of clothes &shoes today. Some brand new, I’ll never wear that size again. They had so many Christmas gifts, I was tempted to buy the cutest stuffed animal but I had no one to give it to. The prices are very reasonable. Stop in and support a good cause.”
“I adopted Amelia (formerly Salem) from Cat Care Society, and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience.
Shortly after bringing her home, I ran into a few unexpected health issues. As a first-time cat mom, I was honestly scared and overwhelmed by the findings and how sick she was. But CCS immediately followed up with me and walked me through every bump in the road with so much care and support. I never felt alone in it. CCS truly cares about their cats before and after adoption.
I am endlessly grateful to this shelter for connecting me with my soul kitty. Amelia has brought so much joy and face “boops” into my life. If you’re considering adopting, I highly recommend visiting CCS — they truly care about both their cats and their adopters!”
“Absolutely astonishing aid. Came home with an abundant of new clothes for my newly turned 5 year old son for the winter and we are SO thankful for this organization’s help. My kid is over the moon with all of his new gear ♥️ Thank you!”
“What a fantastic resource this place is, staffed by incredibly generous and skilled people.
I had quite an extensive and challenging project: building a complex wheelchair ramp and shower platform for my new apartment. The project required several difficult cuts — two side rails at precise angles and a full-length bevel rip of a 2×12 — all accurate to within 1/8”. James very generously offered his expertise, and in the end, everything was not just accurate to within 1/8”, but within 1/16”.
Before finding this place, we were completely stuck. The project required professional-grade tools and skill — a band saw, planer, and circular saw — but no contractor was willing to take it on, and the cuts were far too complex for a big-box store or for us to handle alone. Not only that but we urgently needed the ramp completed so I could safely take a shower. Once we found the Denver Tool Library, though, the work was completed in just a few hours and saved us hundreds of dollars.
I can’t say enough how grateful I am that a place like this exists — and to James and everyone here, thank you so much!”
“I just bought my first ever season tickets for anything. Joyce, who handles season tickets, made me feel like a special customer. I’m really floored that she gave such personalized attention! Thank you, Joyce! You made my day!”
“I visited this place in the afternoon, it was legal night. The attention, kindness and especially availability to serve people was adequate. Very well organized.”
“I got my Doberman neutered here, they were all super kind right away. They did a just fine job with his surgery but also filed his nails and looked at some other stuff he had going with his skin and said to bring him back for it when he heals from his neuter. It was a very good experience. There was a lot going on and they were all calm and collected which made for an easier time for the pups.”
“Today was a very good day. I reached out to dress for success. Ms Amara got back to me by email and scheduled an appointment. I was able to get some clothing for employment searching. They help rebuild some confidence with the elevator speech, interview tips ect. Anyone in need of the support reach out to them schedule your appointments. Everyone was so amazing and supportive on my visit. Thank you ladies!!!”
“I am so happy I found this bike shop in my area. Everyone there was super courteous and knowledgeable. Collin helped me Identify something in my bike that could have led to something bad happening when riding and got my bike serviced and prepared for me faster than expected. Thank you to the kind people that work there and want to share their knowledge with you so you can then work on your own bikes as well! They are about helping and uplifting the community which is great to see these days.”

“When my daughter needed surgery, we stayed here. Not all people who worked or volunteered here were friendly, but they were very helpful and kind. I'm very grateful that they helped my family, and I will never forget their kindness. They have a wonderful setup, and it was definitely a home away from home. Mostly, I was only there at night while my hubby and Son were there all the time because I was with my daughter during the daytime. What I saw of the place was very nice and clean. I would recommend that family and friends try to stay there if, God forbid, their children are in need of medical attention.”
“I can’t say enough good things about this organization. If you have dietary restrictions due to a medical issue and a doctor to sign off on the referral form, they are very helpful. It makes it so much easier to stick to your diet, particularly when others near you are eating something you can’t or shouldn’t eat. Having healthy, frozen meals brought to your door each week is a huge benefit. Not only is it free and convenient, it also provides some variety.”
“I loved my experience with HeyDenver! Everyone was so kind and open to all questions. And the consent form is affirming, trauma-informed and inclusive. I tested with a pop up at another event and this was also so great! A fabulous way to destigmatize testing and gather people who also love to be in community supporting one another!”
“This group of people that I rock climbed w/ were extremely informative, caring, friendly, & professional. Highly recommend visiting one of their numerous classes!!!Thank you so much! ?”
“I have been taking clients with food insecurity to TAC for about a year. You can make an appointment to "shop" every 2 weeks or go in daily for a small prefilled bag. There is also a pet food bank once a month and other services/ resources. Thanks for all you do for the community!”
“This place is an amazing non-profit that helps so many women in our community. They have a beautiful gift shop/store in this building that is open to the public. The woman who works there is very professional, friendly, and helpful.Their products are a little on the expensive side for my budget - as I live on a fixed income.I tell you what - if I had more disposable income I would support them a lot more than I have. They have beautiful gift boxes that would be an ideal purchase for small businesses, and corporations to give to their clients! Please stop in and say hi to them! You will not be disappointed!”

“I have been going to the Refuge since 2016. They have always welcomed us with open arms. We no longer go as much as we used to, but it's still a wonderful place to go just to relax or get something to eat.
We provided lunch, too, before when we them we were able to to give back.
I love you, Kathy!

“This was an incredibly impactful exhibit and every American should be educated and take part in it. It’s extremely educating and really makes you think what kind of country you want America to be going forward. Highly recommend.”
“People house offers affordable counselling for those in the greater Denver area. They are recommended by Naropa University and all cost of sessions go to maintaining the center's position in the community. Thank you People House for all that you do! We're lucky to have you!”

“I worked a few shifts here and the place is amazing! All the staff is so involved and caring for the visitors. It has a genuine warm and happy feeling around the entire place. I would definitely feel comfortable having a loved one come here!”
“A good place to start for seniors looking for assistance with food insecurity needs, clothing, housing, and other referrals. (Must be 60or over to use the facilities).”
“The self guided tour was very well structured. Two docents were also available to answer questions and provide additional information. There was a lot more to the real Margaret Brown as compared to the Molly Brown film. The house has been restored to its early 20th Century appearance. We spent almost two hours on the tour---we could have spent even more time.”
“I visited HopeCycle on March 26th, 2024. I discovered their variety of refurbished bicycles to be quite robust. They also have a selection of brand new cycling accessories such as pumps, helmets, and lights,To say that their prices are competitively low, is an understatement.I dealt with Greg, one of the managers, who told me that many of the staff who refurbish the bikes are volunteers. They truly contribute to the community as a labor of love and generosity.I found HopeCycle to be fair and respectful. And certainly worthy of a donation, monetary or used bike / gear.”
“I'm glad to help other men, and I just found out women also, who have been incarcerated get their lives back on track thru donating clothes, shoes, and hats. The guy who is always there, behind the desk, is friendly and helpful.”
