I stopped in for a quick look and immediately found myself wandering around checking tags and comparing varieties. The selection is great, the plants looked healthy, and everything was clearly labeled, which I always appreciate.
I was specifically looking at lavender and found several different varieties in stock. There was a good mix of plants, garden supplies, and outdoor decor, and the whole place felt well maintained and organized.
Definitely one of those places where you go in for one thing and leave with five.”
“Very nice selection of trees and shrubs including many field grown specimens that are extra large, with many unique conifers that are hard to find elsewhere, I have not seen these specimens in these sizes anywhere else in CT. Some are quite expensive, but in comparison to other nurseries that sell specialy trees- the sizes are much better for the price. The smaller potted conifers are adequately priced. April thru June is the best time to visit since there are more potted options at lower cost available before the heat hits. I would recommend a stop to any collector.”

“RPM Power Equipment is the BEST!!! Both of the tires on my snowblower had dry rotted valve stems and FLAT tires... The day after Christmas there was snow headed our way and i was trying to find a way to get my snowblower ready... I was having trouble finding a place that could help me out.. I called RPM and they were open! The internet indicated that they were only going to be open until 12 noon.. But they actually remained open all day to serve their customers!! RPM Power Equipment is a Great place with Great People!! And their pricing is more than fair!!!

“As someone who works in the trades this is a vital store for me. The employees are very knowledgeable about where items are. They always have sales going on, especially for my beloved Milwaukee and DeWalt tools.
I'm basically there once a month to stock up on drill bits, misc tools, drivers, and welding consumables, albeit airgas in North Haven has a much more selective supply of welding gear, but can become very pricy when all I need is some 7018 rods or new gloves.
Even there garden center is top notch.
You won't be disappointed. Great place to browse and spend money.”

“I just recently purchased a backpack leaf blower through them, when I initially called they were not in stock due to current market conditions, but they were friendly and polite, took my name and number and said they would let me know as soon as they did. I received a call a month or so later just like they said they would do, I was heading out on vacation for a week, but they let me pay for it over the phone and I picked it up when I got back... it was quick and easy, they did what they said they would do and they even got it started up for the first time and put in a full tank of gas! Oh and they gave me a pilsner mug, what more could you ask for, haha!”

“Home Depot in Derby is my go-to for home improvement projects, appliance purchases and virtually everything in between when it comes to your home. They literally have everything you can think of, plus the countless items you may never need or use, but boy do some of those expensive tools look exciting. Fun to just browse and see what's new these days.
They always have everything I need at reasonable prices (especially compared to major competitors and Mom & Pop shops), and the staff is attentive and willing to help without being pushy or aggressive. Their Home Depot credit card through Citi is also a great option for promotional interest-free financing on larger appliance purchases, which makes those bigger expenses much easier to manage. Bought my roughly $1k dish washer (including removal and install) and only had to pay about $85 a month for a year, interest free and then I also earn redeemable points on my purchases when I spend there. Consistently a good experience, has yet to let me down.”
“Rente a rock hound, picked it up at 7 am. It was ready. Around 1pm it blew an O ring. We called. I walked across the street to do something was gone a total 10 mins. When I walked back, the service guy was already cleaning up. That's fast. Thank you guys”
“Always come here when starting a project around the house. They almost always have what I need in stock, and the app makes it easy to find which aisle things are in. The self-checkout usually moves pretty fast too.
Took off a star because it can be really tough to track down an employee if you have a quick question or need something cut, especially on a weekend morning when it's busy. Once you do find someone though, they're usually helpful. Overall a reliable spot, just give yourself a little extra time if you need actual assistance.”

Why advertise curbside pickup if the service isn't actually functional? I checked in for a curbside pickup order and sat in my car for over 25 minutes, only to discover no one was ever coming out. I had to go inside, explain the situation, and wait even longer while an associate was finally alerted to gather my items.
This is the only Home Depot location where I consistently run into curbside pickup failures. If a store doesn't have the staffing or system to support curbside service, they shouldn't offer it. It ends up taking twice as long as just walking in yourself.”
“This store is the best store I've ever been too. The managers and staff have shown us and our son so much compassion today. They went above and beyond for him today, they showed him true kindness and understanding. He loves the the kid events and the projects that he is able to make. My son has Autism and looks forward to being able to create items that he can be proud of making for himself. He may be an adult in age, but a child in his heart and this store has let him achieve his potential with this event, it lets him succeed.”
“I recently rented a van from Home Depot and overall the experience was smooth and convenient. The rental process was easy, and the van itself was in good condition.
However, there was a small issue at the start. I was told the gas tank was at 7/8 full, but when I got into the vehicle, it looked more like just over 3/4. I only drove about three miles and even added half a gallon of gas before returning it. Despite that, I was told there wasn’t enough gas upon return and was asked to pay a fuel fee.
I explained that the tank was already under 7/8 when I picked it up and declined the charge. Thankfully, the staff listened and agreed that it was probably a mistake in checking the fuel level at the start. They dropped the fee, and everything ended well.
Just a heads-up to future renters: double-check and take a picture of the fuel gauge before driving off. Otherwise, great service!”
“Needed tools in a pinch. Came in hand. The saw chain broke and (although a quick fix) i didn't know how to fix so job took a bit longer than expected. I suggest to ask service agent to give a quick fix tutorial on common issues. The service tech was very polite and accommodating.”
“Overall good experience. I had two house keys made and I asked for an auto key and the gentleman who was quite chipper got another associate to make the auto key and stayed around until all the keys were done. I was looking for dry gas but they didn't have that. The checkout was self checkout it was really quick and I was on my way within 20 minutes.”
