“United Tire has excellent reviews on Google, surprised to see only one review here. Anyway, I had just bought a new(er) car from a place I didn't quite trust but I was in a tight pinch. Two weeks after buying my car, the alternator went. I had just enough battery life to get me home from work. The car was seconds from dying as I backed it into my parking spot at home. I called a place nearby, they quoted me $479 for the repair, which did not include a tow. He said they don't do towing. So I called a few places and found a business nearby, the guy told me the tow would be $100-120. Making the total for tow and repair $579-599. He asked me where to tow it and I told him. He said his father owned a repair shop nearby and could probably do the repair that day. I was initially hesitant, but ultimately agreed, as small, family owned shops tend to be cheaper than the big boys. The drawback was they can be slower. In this case, that was true. They towed my new(er) car at about 8am on a Friday morning and I was told it would be fixed that day. It wasn't. I called shortly after they opened Saturday morning and they hadn't begun the repair...but he assured me the car would be ready before the end of the day. I called back right around noon and he said it was ready, to come pick it up anytime. Great news! I got a ride to the shop and they were pretty busy with what seemed to be happy customers. I had to wait like 20 minutes, no big deal. They finally gave me my total for the repair AND the tow. $420 out the door. Wow! Okay! One thing auto repair guys are used to is people grunting, grumbling, and groaning over the cost of repairs. When a customer smiles with glee and gladly forks over $420, it makes them happy. I told them they saved my neck and I could now get to work on Monday. They also saved me about $160-180. To top it off, I told them my car was still under 30 day warranty from the place where I bought it. I could have gotten the repair done FOR FREE but I opted to pay $420 (or a possible $599) instead. Why? Trust. You can't put a price on trust. The car has been running great ever since. Next time I need a repair, these guys will be at the top of my list.”

“There's a lot to be said about honesty. There's a lot more to be said for skills and experience. Not playing the woman card, but as a woman, dealing with something auto-related has long been a stress. I'm a smart gal, but cars aren't my thing. Not like I don't have the aptitude for smaller tasks, but whenever I've taken my car in for something...I've seen more than once how dealerships will try and take advantage of the fact that I don't know certain things (and seen their faces fall when I've played dumb knowing the reality and declined their nonsense).Enter a pretty massive gut punch. After a dealership jerry-rigged a fix...that ultimately went bust...they tried telling me that my vehicle needed a $3200 repair on a five year old car (2019 Kia Sportage SXT) - and that was just the estimate! In an absolute tailspin, I reached out of Colter and his team. What the dealership was telling me just didn't make sense...and if I was going to consider giving up a kidney to pay for a repair, I wanted to make sure that it was truly necessary. Lo and behold - Colter showed me the truth, and did what the dealership should have done the first time. Absolutely incredible. Saved me a few thousand bucks and proved that there are shops really can be trusted.”

I needed some service on my new to me audi and evaluated several shops until settling on EuroSense. Why choose EuroSense? Transparent, detailed estimates/evaluations provided by text/email. Thoughtful and targeted diagnosis. (read: no parts cannon). Super clean work. And the shop is uber clean. I mean totally clean. Clean mechanics are careful and thoughtful. They are the sister of Excellerate Performance, a tuning shop. EuroSense isn't cheap but they are reasonable.
