I've done business with the guys at Silas Deane Pawn in Branford for years. They are the best. This is the only place I know that has almost anything you could possibly want at a discounted price, and everything is always in excellent condition.
The guys always work with me. They have given me a few extra days when I needed it. They are always polite, always there early opening the store, and they stay late.
Everything is checked to make sure it's not on any stolen list. This is a legitimate business for anyone who wants to do business with a professional pawn shop that operates exactly the way a pawn shop should.

They, and I, have been several times since and have never left empty handed. The space is beautifully curated and the staff I’ve encountered have been extremely knowledgeable and friendly. On my second visit I was having trouble finding something I had seen on my first visit but couldn’t purchase until I was there alone. The staff spent so much time looking for, and eventually finding the item with me…then contacted the seller to get me the best deal they could.
