“This is a fantastic independent, Black-owned bookstore in downtown Bridgeport. There is street parking available on both sides of the Arcade Mall, and it's pretty easy to get in and out of. It's fairly small but they have a nice selection and can order books that aren't in stock in the store. I met one of the owners, Derek, and he was incredibly welcoming. We had a great chat while I stopped in on my lunch break. I'm looking forward to returning!”
“I have no association with UB whatsoever but that didn't stop me from driving 50 miles to come here for all my purple needs. The store itself is difficult to find if you're not familiar with the layout of the campus but it's worth the trip regardless. The staff are friendly and willing to assist if you ever need help. With this impending takeover by Goodwin University, I pray UB is allowed to keep its identity and colors.”

“I love this place: you definitely will fine exactly what you are looking for. You can get your name or someone else named engaged on a Bible. There's alot of wonderful things you can buy from there. It's so peaceful when you enter the store, gospel music be playing; the people who work there is very professional also will assist you in what you are looking for without hesitation. I would suggest this place to anyone who is looking for things they want Christian ✝ things.”

“If you like bookstores that specialize in selling scented candles, cute socks with pictures of cats reading on them, and magnets with drawings of women from the 60's with a witty quip, you should probably go elsewhere. If you love books and reading, this is going to be one of your favorite places in southern Connecticut.”
