“I see a lot of bad reviews so I wanted to leave my own for a change of perspective ! I use this post office all the time and i haven't ever had an issue. I went in there this morning and the man that's always there in the morning (wish I thought to ask for his name ) was so incredibly helpful. I was trying to track down a package I mailed 2 weeks ago that appeared to have been lost based on the tracking. He searched the system every way he could and despite me giving him all of the wrong info (I had the date and time wrong AND the person who had helped me that day wrong - I confused it with another day that I shipped a package) he was so patient and kind and he solved the mystery . He found the transaction and gave me plenty of proof that it was actually delivered last week despite the recipient not verifying that it was. He was the only one there and had other customers that he bounced back and forth between me and helping them and was still smiling and kind with us all. I would have lost patience with me if I were him lol!

“I was looking for a post office where I could take care of my business without feeling uncomfortable or out of place, and after reading the reviews, I kept seeing people mention the lady with the rainbow 🌈 hair. I’m here to say those reviews were absolutely true and well-deserved.
When I walked in, I was the only customer there, and I immediately asked for the lady with the 🌈 hair. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. She took the time to assist me with everything I needed and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Her kindness and positive attitude truly stood out. I was able to get in and out with ease, with no issues at all. Excellent customer service makes a difference, and because of my experience, I will definitely be using this branch moving forward.”
“I had to leave a review after visiting this post office today. The way they decorated the office for Breast Cancer Awareness truly deserves recognition—it’s beautiful and so thoughtful. I was left flabbergasted at the effort and creativity they put into it. On top of that, the service was friendly and quick. Make sure to stop by and see their breast cancer theme decorations—they definitely deserve a reward for the work they put in!”

“Went there with my daughter for a passport appointment. Quick, great service, and seamless! I went to the Avon USPS and they canceled my appointment without calling. At this location, their photo services were down but they called me to let me know with plenty of time for me to go to the CVS across the street beforehand. This is definitely my go to USPS from now on!”

“This one is so much better than Thomaston PO. The staff here are professional and friendly. The Thomaston one they have attitudes especially the lady post master I spoke to ( interjecting and speaking gruffly) she should be fired! They also hire incompetent carriers who speed in the complex had many problems with Thomaston PO and brought to managers attention - they don't seem to give. Thomaston needs to get better carriers and staff. I try not to do much business at that one.”
“New to the area, but go to the post office almost every day. All the employees I’ve met here so far seem really nice, everyone’s been super helpful whenever I need anything beyond just dropping my packages off. Also love that they have a bucket for dropping off pre-labeled packages. A lot of post offices don’t have that and then get mad when you have more than a couple to send out. Not these folks though!”

“This has been the most pleasant USPS experience of my life. I have been trying to get my fingerprints done for over month now and six visits to various locations in CT and NY later, this office got it done in minutes with incredible service, good humor and kindness. “I visited this location Yesterday because I was having issues with my mail Being return to sender as well as my packages. The manager on duty worked hard to resolve the issue and ensured that my packages got redelivered today. “Eric was very helpful and attentive. I didn’t catch the name of the older caucasian woman next to him she had glasses and her hair was graying. She was extremely rude to him and as a customer it made me very uncomfortable. You should not treat people like that, ESPECIALLY in front of customers.”
