As a recent retiree who's trying to stay in shape, I was very pleased that a short session with Ms Hannah provided me with easy, helpful ideas on menus that fit my caloric needs...and my lack of desire to spend a lot of time in the kitchen !

“Such a cozy shop with a wide variety of British snacks, beverages, royal-themed tchochkies and other handpicked goods. The owners are lovely and straight from the UK, making every visit feel so incredibly authentic I feel like I'm back in London. And let us not forget that gorgeous classic red phone booth right out front.
Can't wait to come back for one of their tea party experiences.”

The only suggestion I have for management is to offer a secure app for your delivery, as you may get more customers. “Clean store and friendly staff! The staff go above and beyond in terms of friendliness. The store itself is large and well organized. I am giving 4/5 stars because the store does not have a gluten free section like other locations (specifically the Big Y in West Hartford). While they have gluten free tags next to the prices, there’s not one spot where gluten free stuff is kept. It makes it more difficult and time consuming to shop. After speaking with a staff member, it seemed to be a common request customers had. I am hopeful the store will create a gluten free section (even a small one) as it is incredibly helpful for people who have celiac/ gluten allergy/ intolerance.”

“I used the self checkout this morning at around 8:15. I had no problems/issues. There was a woman, however, checking out opposite me. She didn't know what she was doing, constantly yelling at the associate for help. Grumbling, yelling, using foul language (with her children/grandchildren standing beside her) complaining constantly. The associate, whose name I do not know, was pleasant, helpful and courteous. Never once did she raise her voice or lose her temper. She actually smiled and told the miserable woman to have a great day!! THAT is exceptional customer service and this kind woman deserves to be recognized for it.”

“Decent store with great options including organic, sushi, fresh flowers, hot chicken bar, prepared foods. The staff was friendly and helped me since I wanted discount but didn’t have a card. The store was clean, ample parking. Decent bakery too and lots of specialty foods like kosher and Mexican”
“One of the best looking DGs I've been to. The curb appeal was also pretty. When I went on a Sunday, it was pretty quiet. I try to go on Saturdays because you can use their $5 coupon.From what I saw, the shelves were pretty organized and clean. I did notice some employees stocking the shelves; hence the pile of items waiting to be unloaded on the aisles.They had a mix and match, buy one get one 50% off aisle that was disorganized. We bought two items and didn't get the second one 50% off. We read the fine print regarding which items were excluded but since the aisle was disorganized, we weren't sure if it was truly part of the sale. I think they should keep all items that were on this particular sale promotion in one spot so it's easy to find; items not part of the sale should be separated.Overall, it is one of my favorite stores and I'm glad that there is one close to me.”
