“My wife and I were shopping for an Electric Stove top. After a couple hours of internet shopping we stopped at the Ellington location. Mike and Matt were very helpful in assisting us to get the right stovetop at the right price and more importantly at the right time! Ours broke and we are without a stove at the moment. Prices were competitive with what we researched and we will get our new stove a week earlier than a direct order from GE. Give them a look the next time you are in need. Oh and my wife and I are retired veterans and we even got a military discount.”

“I could not have had a better experience! I live in Manhattan and had tried three places here to be ghosted by two of them. I walked into Galleria with no expectation and was greeted warmly by Jenuarie and she was fabulous. She was patient in helping me decide what I wanted to do. I thought I could mix tile companies for an accent tile while never considering the exact dimensions of the tiles may not blend. She pointed this out and from that point I changed direction of what I was doing. After picking out tiles we went to the warehouse for the countertop and the first one I saw was the one I wanted. I also learned I need a fabricator which had not been mentioned to me previously. While waiting for sample tiles I saw some beautiful handmade tiles which I now think will be the accent tiles. I ordered one as the company is in California. The rest of the staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and interested in what my plans were when We discussed the hand made tiles. The experience could not have been better. I saw the negative reviews and I can honestly say I can't imagine any of the staff being cold, indifferent or unhelpful. I highly, highly recommend Galleria in Middletown. I just wish we had a place like this in the city!”

“We wanted to recognize Paul K ( Irishman) who actually stopped and asked if he can help us instead of just walking by and having us track down an employee ( like at Lowe’s). He not only showed us where the products were but gave his advice and recommendations as well. He went out of his way to walk us around the store looking for other things that we mentioned and even offered my daughter a bottle water when she said she was thirsty. It was one of the best service we’ve had , way better than Lowe’s ! You have a great employee in Mr Paul K. I will be coming back to Home Depot over Lowe’s because of your friendliness and helpfulness.”

“I've always found this Home Depot to be clean, well stocked, and usually I'm easily able to find the item, or employees can help me. Easy to get project advice, and we've been going here for years. The bathroom is pretty much always clean (way better than most places) customer service has been quite easy. Not super happy about the returns without receipt policy, but I understand why, as so many people shoplift. Just remember to send receipt to email, or use card every time so returns can be found by card#.”

“My refrigerator stopped working a couple days ago called up Rent-A-Center Middletown spoke to Sonia not only did she hook me up with a fridge that fits the space better but matches all of my other Samsung appliances better than my current fridge ever did. And she got it delivered to me in 48 hours because my fridge had broken. 10 out of 10 will go back to Sonia when I need to replace my stove which should be pretty soon. Louis and Devon came to deliver they were on point they were very quick they were very gentle didn't hurt a single thing. Big fan will be back.”

“Come here from time to time. This store is HUGE. Prices are more than Nh... but so is everything so I don't really complain. Nothing *crazy* to state.... It's Home Depot not a nightclub but the plants always seem healthy. Last time I was here there was a confrontation between the police and an Asian gentlemen. I watched for awhile and nothing spectacular came of it. Kinda would say that's the *vibe* for this store. One other time this lady who worked here was rude... I was here right at opening and went to walk in and boy she shut those doors quick. Idk why they were unlocked but I didn't unlock them and thus was a little taken again. Figured that was just a once off. For all of these reasons, 4/5 ... maybe 85/100 if this was a test. We could call it a "B"”
“Typical Home Depot. Staff is helpful, mostly, until you can't find something. Then it seems like staff is just as hard to find as what you're looking for. I eventually found some of the things I was looking for, compromised on a project because I didn't want to spend, chose the cheap way out. Didn't see everything I wanted, but got what I needed, so I guess it all worked out.”
“I went to buy mulch. Asked associate at register if I could buy mulch and drive around and pick up. He said” he didn’t think they did that” He tried to find the person who helps with mulch. Was unable to locate. He then said I’ll get it for you. Rang up my order, told me to pull up my car and he loaded it.
He was a college student going to UConn in fall.

“just to let everyone know be very carefull about getting into any kind of contract with these people, because if you tell them only one year on something they will do a renewal with out your permission and screw everything up on you and then you have to go through a whole big dance just to get the charge taken off of your bill. overall they do have a lot of cool stuff but please be very carefull when dealing with them and there geek squad dept as well.”
