“I bough a 75’ vette and dropped a brand new gm crate small block in it with 6-71 blower. First day with it it running I immediately blew the engine. I realized i needed a little help since this was my first supercharged build. I found DCE on line and liked that they were an all in one shop. A machine shop with engine dyno, A repair shop that can do fabrication ( like custom intakes ..etc.) with a chassis dyno for tuning. After talking to Jim on the phone I felt more then comfortable enough to bring my car to him. After arriving with the car I got a nice tour of the facility. While taking the quick tour in the machine shop I saw Volvo, Ferrari, Chrysler,Chevy,Ford engines. In the shop I saw a bunch of cars but what stood out to only mention a few , a twin turbo full on race car foxbody mustang, sitting next to a fully restored 65’ GT350 Hertz mustang , while they also had a beautiful stingray sitting on the chassis dyno just waiting for the new fuel injection system they installed to be tuned. They definitely do it all and do it right!!! They built me a bullet proof small block. They broke the engine in on the engine dyno. They then reinstalled the engine and supercharger. Got her up on the chassis dyno, adjusted the timing and then Jeff worked his magic on my fitech dual quad fuel injection set up untill she ran perfect in every gear and at any RPM. Jeff and Jim ( and all their supporting crew ) were top notch from start to finish. Highly recommended them for any type of automotive build. From budget build to all out spare no expense build……DCE will do it and exceed your expectations.”

The Prelude is from Japan, and has an engine (F22B) that was only sold in Japan. After looking for 2 weeks locally and online, and finding nothing I called Axel. This might sound dramatic but after having a really negative experience with the initial people I entrusted to fix my car, I went to Tony (per my mother's recommendation). He was so enraged when I told him about my experience with the other guys. He was empathetic, comforting and caring. He even tried helping me to get my money back from them because they did a botched job and ripped me off for it, probably took advantage of the fact that I'm a girl and don't know much about cars. “First ignore the rake. I have HD Springs and there’s no weight in the back at the moment.I’d like to thank Jim and his team for taking care of my truck.I went in, to get a BP51 installed, a body mount chop and my UCA ball joints changed. My bolts in the lca froze and they had to cut it out. By doing this my cv boot got a little hole and grease was going everywhere on my ride home after getting everything done. I went back the next day to show Jim, and without hesitation Jim fixed the problem and got it replaced the same day. That meant a lot to me that he did that and took ownership of the issue. He stands behind the work and will do his best to correct the issue.I also want to say, finding someone to do a body mount chop is a PITA. The welds and the chop came out very clean. I was super impressed by how clean the chop was.Im going to let everything settle and see on the retorque if Jim can crank up the coilovers. So it can sit a little more flush.Overall im very happy with the work. Very happy with the shop and most importantly I would recommend people to get work done here.”

“Don't let the small entrance office area fool you. Jose is an extremely knowledgeable mechanic and very fair and honest. He first replaced my engine for a fraction of the cost that everyone else quoted. He did the job with outstanding results. The next issue I had with my foreign made VW had to do with electrical issues and diagnostic lights. Jose and Xavier figured the issue out quickly and made the repair saving me thousands of dollars compared to what Danbury VW wanted for the same work. Great place, honest business people!
