Employees are generally very friendly and assist with tasks like setting up the mobile app to access coupons and promo offers, which can lead to significant savings. The pharmacy hours are convenient, but it is often out of certain medications or faces insurance approval issues. Customers learn to reorder early. The pharmacy staff is very good about working with insurance, resubmitting to get approval, and making sure patients can have their medication. A common criticism is that the grounds and garden area seem like an afterthought; the exterior could be made prettier and more well-cared for. Overall, it is a place to refill prescriptions, shop for health and beauty products, print photos, and more.
It's always a pleasure to shop here at the Essex Walgreens as everyone has been extremely helpful as well as friendly. A real home town store feeling offering value as well.
