“They have a deli called In and Out inside the store that makes breakfast, lots of hot and cold sandwiches, and some other little stuff. Pretty much like a Checkers but I think the food is a little better and the portions a little bigger.”

“A friend requested I accompany her for a large amount of items she needed to purchase at BJ's. I was curious to see how it compares with other places I do frequent on a regular basis. I am usually loyal to Costco, and do enjoy shopping there when it's not too crowded. BJ's wholesale club was not crowded at all. People were friendly, and there was an abundant amount of parking available. However, the selection and cleanliness of this store was not up to par, with what I am accustomed to at Costco. I also did some price comparisons and for the items I checked, Costco prices are also more competitive.”

“In that place there are many necessary items for the home and very good prices, you can quickly choose the desired products because they are well organized, there are varieties and a lot of space and an easy way to check when you have already searched for all the products.. a very active staff and ready to help any time you need it, plenty of parking to park in the place you want. “Derby Big Y is convenient & parking is good. Fresh Fish cold case is a winner & they also fry fish for take out fish & chips. Service is good. Store seems a little crowded with products but that's a good thing I guess. Well lit & clean. One of the better grocery stores in Southern Connecticut. Derby store does not have gas pumps. You need to go to Milford for Big Y gas which is very reasonably priced.”
