“When it came time to finally makeover our dated living room, I could not part with 2 side chairs so we made decision to have them upholstered. I sent pics to Oak and Velvet and they responded quickly and with a very reasonable fee. Then came time to pick out the fabric...what I thought would be an easy decision became an hour plus adventure with the designer. There were tons of fabric books to choose from and the designer offered many beautiful ideas (and was so very patient with me!). We also had a custom ottoman and pillows made to go with the chairs and they came out absolutely perfect! I had missed an email that the ottoman was ready for pick up and Erica was gracious to wait for me to come late to pick it up right before the holidays. Since the service and workmanship were an exceptional experience, we are now going to have them custom make an ottoman/coffee table. They also have a great selection of custom pillows that are better in quality and price than anything you would get at Homegoods or Marshalls. Of course I bought 4 Highly recommend Oak and Velvet!Services: Chair construction & installation”

“Love the pick up service. App is a little hard to use on your phone, desktop is easier. A few times they didn't have what I needed, and once gave me a zucchini instead of a cucumber. But overall the pick up seems to be pretty cool and works out well for us as a family. I got some expired milk when I ordered it, and had to go back to the store to swap it with another. I noticed in the case, that there were several milks that were also expired in the case. I just hope that the people working there can focus on those dates especially with perishable items.”
“No pressure sales team and good values here. If you have hard time making a payment on your item they work with you and don't just show up at your house like some other company does . They have couches ,TV's and even washer/driers . Go check them out”

“Bought a mattress from John a few months ago. He is very personable and didn't try to push the most expensive mattress on me. On the contrary, he was by far the most reasonably priced of all the mattress places we went to. He even personally delivers all mattresses he sells. The only tip I'd give to someone checking this place out is to call ahead. Sometimes he's out delivering mattresses and the store will be locked. It's completely worth this minor extra effort. I highly recommend John. He will be my go to salesman for any future purchases and for anybody asking my for a recommendation.”
