“My sister and I came in here for a new battery for my car keys today. I asked the gentleman at the register if there was any way he could help me take the key apart. He took his time to take my key apart, get the new battery and replaced it all for me. He was so kind and friendly and went way above and beyond!!! I did not get his name but hopefully he sees this and realizes that he made my day. Such great customer service!”

“The old 'Higganum Feed' was a dump and the people working the same sort you'd encounter at an inner city auto shop. The place is under new management which clearly takes pride in the appearance of the place and the gentleman behind the counter is friendly and helpful. Give it a try and you'll see for yourself. And no, no interest in the place, couldn't tell you the owners name.”

We moved to town almost three years ago, and from day one, we were treated like family. We rely on Shagbark for everything: animal feed, bedding, gardening supplies, and even materials for our next big house project. Our children love coming along (mostly for the popcorn, of course!), and every visit makes us feel welcomed, appreciated, and never like a bother.
