“I love Stop & Shop Pharmacy. The staff are wonderful, pharmacists give me any shots I need and answer questions about meds. They take care of renewing my prescriptions and call when they are ready. I recommend them to everyone”

“I shop everywhere because no one store has everything I need.Shop Rite often has the best prices but their selection is uneven, I often can't find grocery items in stock.Their seafood department is usually good, clean and well stocked, the meat department is close, but doesn't always have what I'm looking for.Produce is uneven, the organic section is nice, but the regular fruit is often bruised and picked over. I'm also not a fan of prepacked and bagged fruit. The Frozen and Dairy sections are well stocked and rarely sold out of sale items.Florist is small and I never see staff there, Bakery is crowded and heavy on frozen baked goods. The employees are pleasant enough, but if there are lines, I use the self checkout. Not a phenomenal experience, but good enough for me to shop there, but the Hamden store, same owner, is kept better.”

“I choose to drive 45 minutes to Beacon Prescriptions over nearby, chain pharmacies. The customer service is excellent, I've never had to WAIT, and they don't employ nonsense corporate policies, which have made it impossible for me to fill prescriptions at other locations.”

“I have had several cashiers and pharmacist’s at this store that are very friendly and helpful. I don’t even mind having to walk more ( there is no drive through) to get my medications because of these very pleasant people.”

“The store in its entirety is always neat, clean, and orderly. The pharmacy is what I'm writing the review about and I couldn't be happier that I made the switch from Walgreens. I was struggling getting my scripts on time or even getting thru on the phone when calling to inquire at Walgreens. I know a lot of it had to do with taking on providing Covid and flu shots and staff shortage. But when they closed the drive-through? That was the last straw for me. It was bad enough that they closed it daily for lunch breaks and truck deliveries. So I made the switch. The pharmacists and the pharmacy techs at Rite Aid have been nothing but polite and helpful since I made the move a few months back. They go the extra step for the customer and treat you with respect while doing it... and they always answer the phone!”

“There are several instances where I saw a few employees without their mask on which risky to their health and everyone else. Although that happened, I haven't ran into any issues with them. I can't say anything about the pharmacy employees since I haven't met them yet.”
