“Vernon Gardens is I really nice facility. It is super clean and the staff are always available to fix or replace anything. If need be as soon as possible really nice pool. It’s open during the summertime and a nice walking trail in the back. The owner is very humble understanding. The facility is also off of a main road, but still allows you privacy being that the apartments are tucked away in the back highly recommended”
“I lived at Norwegian Wood Apartments for two years and I highly recommend it. This is a great apartment complex. Me and lots of other people who attend UConn have lived here, and we all love it. The apartments are well made, the walls are thick, and maintenance fixes problems very quickly. They thoroughly treat the pavement with salt and plows during the winter so that it is safe. We never had any problems with heat, hot water, or air conditioning. I highly recommend this apartment complex if you are considering.
Other reviews here mention sewage smell. I do find that to be the case by the laundry room. We would experience that smell when passing that area, but our apartment wasn't close enough to deal with that. I do believe people smelled it if they lived closer to it.”
“I needed to have the filter replaced on my heating system. The maintenance staff person, Fabrizzio, came to do the work on the same day I emailed my request. He was friendly and competent. He patiently answered some questions I had. I am very pleased with all the maintenance staff visits I have had since I moved into the Pavilions. They have always been prompt. They provide excellent service.”
